It is, because there are dozens of threads. For every question asked that isnt needed, the further down the page threads where real help is needed go.

Have you compelted the AOS? You do that *first*, before the SAR, because the SAR isnt needed right away, teh AOS is.

Hi issue date of the claim is the 3rd July 2019.
With a Claim Issue Date of 3rd July, you have until Monday 22nd July to do the Acknowledgement of Service, but there is nothing to be gained by delaying it. To do the AoS, follow the guidance offered in a Dropbox file linked from post #2 of the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread. About ten minutes work - no thinking required.

Having done the AoS, you have until 4pm on Monday 5th August 2019 to file your Defence.

That's over four weeks away. Loads of time to produce a perfect Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute.

When you are happy with the content, your Defence should be filed via email as suggested here:
      Print your Defence.
    1. Sign it and date it.
    2. Scan the signed document back in and save it as a pdf.
    3. Send that pdf as an email attachment to CCBCAQ@Justice.gov.uk
    4. Just put the claim number and the word Defence in the email title, and in the body of the email something like 'Please find my Defence attached'.
    5. Log into MCOL after a few days to see if the Claim is marked "defence received". If not chase the CCBC until it is.
    6. Do not be surprised to receive an early copy of the Claimant's Directions Questionnaire, they are just trying to keep you under pressure.
    7. Wait for your DQ from the CCBC, or download one from the internet, and then re-read post #2 of the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread to find out exactly what to do with it.
I have had a look on VCS website and can not see a privacy section, only a contact us section, is that where I submit my SAR?
At the top of every page on the VCS website you will see:

Every one of those so called 'policies' on that dropdown contains the email address that Dale has kindly supplied.

I just used the legal beagles template which is on the newbies thread requesting all correspondence, PCN, NTK, all pictures, signage from the day as i believe the signs have now changed and all evidence they will rely on, i think.

Thanks for that Dale, but you should be aware that signage is not personal data, and therefore they do not need to supply it in response to a SAR.

I have never heard about it or been contacted in all that time from VCS, where do I stand please, they are asking for £160 plus £25 court costs.

A case that a court accepts is

    £100 parking charge
    £25 court fees
    £50 legal costs

    That's the format

There is no charge of £160 and VCS has added a fake £60

    POINT ONE

This is abuse of process which you can read here
    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6014081/abuse-of-process-district-judge-tells-bwlegal

    POINT TWO:
VCS will sign a statement of truth which may be a statement of lies if the judge agrees this is abuse of process

This is not a magic wand but it is a stick you can beat VCS with

    What do you mean?

The poster of this thread hasn't been back for a year but will not have had to pay any costs. Almost no-one here loses in court and no-one pays the £60 fake costs.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
