You need to remove that dropbox link immediately.

There is so much personal information - just on the first page.

You also need to change your dropbox username to something anonymous.

The parking companies trawl this forum just waiting for people to trip themselves up, and will try an use your posts against you.

OK, I removed the Dropbox link straight away.

Though am not sure what personal data was shown. There were no names, addresses, car reg etc...
There WERE dates, but they were stated in earlier posts.

I did spot some errors eg. I had written the wrong Parking company etc., so have corrected them.

I WILL also use a different Dropbox account. I hadn't realised it used an existing one that presumably had my name on it.
I will repost the link shortly.

Sorry, but I read your full name and your vehicle's registration number.

    Didn't read further.

    Hmmm...strange....

I'd never even entered my name in the document.....

Vehicle reg and POPLA number etc 'were' in the original, but I thought I had redacted them.
'Perhaps' I accidentally attached the original (un-redacted copy).

    Anyway....thanks for warning me. When I get home I will double-check and re-attach :-)

(I'll also redact all the dates/times etc..just to be sure.)

    Cheers,
    Don

Your Dropbox account name was revealed (as it always is with dB)

We don't say your name is on show if it isn't!

I'm not criticising. I'm grateful for the help :-)

I wasn't aware that dropbox reveals your name when you share a file - never used it before.

Have learnt now - so have created a new dummy account :-)

Here's the new link to my draft .pdf file.

    Have updated the draft.
I have now included ParkingEye's photos of my car - these are used in my appeal to demonstrate that my car was just PASSING BY and never entered their car park!

I am 'still' waiting for the NCP photos, but may need to submit my appeal before receiving them.

OK I have heard back from Holiday Extras.
(I think I forgot to mention, that my original booking with NCP car parks was via Holiday Extras).

Anyway, I complained to them, that I wasn't expecting my car to be photographed by a 'third party' (ie. ParkingEye) whilst it was simply travelling to/from the NCP car park.

They said they would discuss with NCP.

Holiday Extras just just replied advising that 'they' can't get any photos because of Data Protection Laws (I can appreciate that NCP wouldn't release photos to another party - Holiday Extras, which is why I have applied to NCP separately and directly, myself).

    But Holiday Extras 'have' said:

"The car park have now responded and have kindly investigated into the exact timings that your vehicle was within NCP car parks care. They have advised that after checking their ANPR system, they can confirm that you (Mr Santa Claus) did use their facilities under vehicle registration XXXXXXX Entering: XX/XX/XX XX.XX - Exited: XX/XX/XX XX.XX.XX."

The 'entering' time is approx. 1 minute after the time in the ParkingEye's 'arrival' photo, and the 'exited' time is approx. 1 minute before the time in the ParkingEye's 'departing' photo.

Of course, none of this is any surprise to me, as I know EXACTLY what happened. The car simply went 'past' the ParkingEye car park on the way to the NCP car park!

I haven't received the photos from NCP yet, but I think I have a pretty concrete case already, so will probably proceed AS IS.

My case HAS to be a slam dunk!

    I didn't fail to display a ticket.
    I didn't overtstay.
    I didn't park outside a bay.
I NEVER even entered their car park!

Half of me still hopes that POPLA will reject my appeal and take me to court. By then I WILL have the photos from NCP and ParkingEye wouldn't have a leg to stand on. How could they even 'claim' I had parked for 8 hours in their car park when I have PROOF that my car was parked elsewhere......?

I really hope this goes to court. You could counter claim in this case.

OK, I have submitted my POPLA appeal.

I can't believe that ParkingEye will event attempt to supply any supporting evidence...
Or, perhaps they do just as a matter of routine without even noticing that they don't have a leg to stand on in this case.

    So am ready.

If they do, I will rebut it all.....
