Bubbs you've got your "grace" week to get back into target so shouldn't have to pay next week. How much do you need to lose to get back into range? Just stick with it you know it works!

I knew there had to be laundromats in car parks in other places! We've been using them for years in France but our local one was the first I've seen in the UK. Was quite surprised really as I live in a relatively small place - think it's smaller than the Isle of Wight!

Thanks 1 1/2:o but i have been good this week, i will write everything down from tomorrow!

    Morning everyone.

Just caught up on the thread - you lot can't half chat!! Only joking...

There seems to have been a few 'mystery' gains this last week or unexpectedly small losses - Sary, I also think it's to do with the hot weather - maybe we retain more fluid?? I always have a big gain after flying which disappears in a few days and I think that's fluid retention.

My mystery gain has vanished again so I'll see where I'm at on Friday - still can't fasten the shorts though...

Off to do some batch cooking. I made a lentil quiche type thing last week which was great for snacking/lunches so I'll do that again and a sausage casserole and maybe a curry too. Busy day!

    Have a good day everyone.

Sorry to hear about your gain bubbs.:( I'm wondering if there's some truth in the link between hot weather last week and water retention. Denise is right though, we all know the plan works so we'll just have to keep plodding on.;)

I [STRIKE]think[/STRIKE] know I'm thinner than when I came back from holiday but far from sure that I'm in target range. While in the winter I use the 'clean jeans' test, my summer skirts are telling me that I need to keep working at it. While my stomach isn't bloated any more it isn't flat either. :(

I think SW is being kind to me. I know it's more than 8 weeks since my last WI but I haven't been kicked off the site yet. That's strange but I think I should go to WI this week. I can't make my usual Thursday so tomorrow may be the day.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB toast, fried egg, baked beans, HEA1 milk for drinks
L: cold meat, LO veg and pickles
D: SW Bolognese with tagliatelle, HEA2 Parmesan
    Syns: None:D

Oooh good luck after all that time away xxx

Hello everyone, been lurking for a bit trying to get up the courage to post 😆

Yes, a lot of people seem to gain in hot weather from retention so the week it gets cooler there should be lovely losses for those who stayed on plan

Good luck with WI tomorrow Maman.

Welcome to the thread Percy. No need to we worried about posting. Nobody judges - we're all in the same boat and just offer support. How long have you been doing SW? Do you go to group, do online or just going it alone? Everybody is welcome. If it would help you could post up your menu plan each day as a lot of us do to help keep us on track.

Took my quilt to Morries this morning to wash. Put in on and then went off shopping. When we came back the machine had stopped and we took it out to bring home to dry - but no need there was only a wet corner on it - the bl**dy machine went out of service after we'd paid for and started! Got our money back fortunately as we'd paid by card - no idea what would have happened if we'd paid cash as the machine is nothing to do with Morrisons! So now need to wait for the machine to be repaired before we can try again!

Anyway enough of the ranting. Back to SW and my meal plan for today:

    B - Beans on toast
L - spring onion, pepper, mushroom & cheese omelette; salad - mixed leaves, cucumber, tomato & HM red onion chutney
D - SC Keralan fish curry & rice - this is a new recipe for me and found a recipe I can do in the SC. The fish is added once the curry is cooked, obviously the fish would be overcooked if cooked for too long! Will let you know how it turns out tomorrow after I'm back fromthe hospital

    HEA - milk/cheese
    HEB - bread
Syns - none planned but last night felt peckish in the evening and had a couple of crisp breads with quark, ham & tomato. Was really nice so shall probably have that this evening if I'm peckish again!

Bubbs just a thought - your cellulitis has cleared up right? It is not a swollen limb causing the gain? Am sure you will turn things around soon enough ;-)

2.5lbs off for me today at WI, thank goodness! So that is only 3lbs over the last 3 weeks, but at least the trend is going in the right direction again, long may it continue. Next week should be a new ‘stone zone’, as long as I lose something, I like that term, stone zone :D.

Brought along a friend to group today. She has a Drs referral, not sure if I will get a free week out of it. Am not bothered about that, am really pleased she has joined. Waiting for all the questions now ;-)

Hope you are all managing to stay on plan, still drink lots though!
