Huge hugs Round, I've been there, it's hard, you've had some great advice which I would echo wholeheartedly.

The councilling is a very good shout, and somewhere, Union/hr/gp should be able to put you onto something. It massively helped me.

My only coping strategy at time's like this is 'game face' it's quite hard to describe, but I remember that my insecurities are mine and others don't know what they are, the other people do not know my history and what has happened in the past so, I pretend that, as far as they are concerned I am 'insert relevant persona' and they can't say I'm not, so, game face on, Oscar winning performance put on and head held high.

It does take practise, but it has massively helped me.

Thank you for your support, advice and hugs Just shows you how potent flylady hugs are - WM is swishing, I'm washed and dressed, I've put out the rubbish, fed the birds, filled the birdbath, made the bed and …. I've cleaned the hand basin in the bathroom :eek: It was minging - I did think about donating it for scientific research - but it was cheaper to clean it I'm going back up there in a minute - armed with cotton buds to twirl a la Valli

WM has finished swishing. I'll put second load in - sun is coming out, but I'll check the weather forecast before I peg out.

Pity party going on here as well, I won't go on too much but suffice to say me and DH not getting on well again. He says he feels angry today.

I've felt angry and sad for over a year but keep on keeping on.

I'm sick of being the strong one - working FT, raising the children, running the house, walking the dog - and he doesn't see it. He's just asked me what's for lunch - look in the bl00dy fridge was my answer.

Two tip runs done, WM done, DW done x

I thought I was getting on well this morning until I checked my list, but the big thing - a christening cake - is done apart from the ribbon to tie round it. As soon as the TD has finished drying his PJs, I'm on my way to the hospital to see DH, so will stop off at the local craft shop on the way - it's a cave full of treasures

We've just had a bit of rain here, so I might not need to water the veg tonight

Afternoon all!

I thought I posted this morning... but clearly not!

Food shop done
Haircut and colour done... has made me feel a bit better!
DH has cleaned the house, he has only just finished as has had to deal with work in between times, I emptied the bins, cleaned the kitchen and mopped the floor, two loads of washing done and changed the bedding!
More washing needs doing but it’s grey here and rain is forecast so it can wait until tomorrow. Nothing is urgently required.
I have some prep that really needs doing for work next week, I don’t want to work on the weekend but I know if I don’t do it it will make Monday chaotic so I am going to do some today and some in the morning.

Sending hugs to all who are in need x I too know how you feel round I have been there... echo the good advice already given.
GWS and support vibes being sent out too.

Swimming done.. Squeak attended birthday party.. present for said child arrived while we were all out.. any other day the postie comes at sparrow fart o'clock!

We saw a house on fire (noone hurt) a robin and some sparkly butterflies.. opticians appointments made, Dots glasses bent back into shape and cleaned and shoe check while the sale is on.. Squeak 1F, Dot 12.5F, Pixie 13.5G and Twinkle 8F. Pixie is now 7mm taller than Dot and on her way to catch Squeak!

Eczema central here.. Twinkles is really bad, much worse than its ever been before, mine is nasty but bearable.

Need lots of tea.

Washing up to date, Offsprung were left with the bathroom to clear of grot and the dishwasher to load.. I haven't checked on that yet.. its on my list! Boog applied for universal credit.. he just finished college and I'm not paying his lazy behind way any more.. He can get a job if he doesn't like it!

Narco.. sounds like everyone thinks it will be too much for MIL.. it must be awfully hard to accept your dependence though, I do feel for you all.. enjoy your holibobs.. the stress will still be there when you get home!

OH's mother is being oblivious too.. she has had a twisted bowel a few times in the last few months but we are worried her diet is aggravating the condition and because we are so far away we cannot get any info from anyone it's all second hand and bits and pieces.. Her diet she says is 'healthy' comprises of high fibre (bran flakes/brown bread etc) and codeine, both of which are the worst things to have when you have bowel issues.. but she won't be told and I doubt she has mentioned it to the hospital the 3 times she has been in.. Anyway.. it is what it is.

OH has done his knee in falling over while lifting a washing machine and he has an absodimal issue he is reluctant to discuss.. He is being kicked to the GP next week.. I am sick of him moaning lol.. I've not heard anything regarding Moomins bloods and still haven't bothered to speak to them about mine.. it's a waste of time.. they just want to treat symptoms I don't have and I won't take anything without an endocrine referral to have stuff checked by a specialist! (The GP hasn't proved their trustworthiness so they could be talking rubbish!)

Sounds like a lot of health issues are about..

GWS vibes to everyone, Doggy vibes for LW and a plague of fleas upon those irritating people in our lives! xx

Thank you for the invite pigpen xx You nearly made me cry again - but in a good way. And then you made me laugh - you have such a way with words. And my colleague's cat has returned from the cattery with fleas - when she tells me how many fleas she combed out of his coat over the weekend I will think of you and the plague that you invoked :rotfl: Poor cat though.

Second load pegged out as the sun came through the cloud. Third load has just stopped swishing - so it can go out too.

I need to eat. I'll put the oven on to heat up whilst I'm pegging out.

You are like the eternal prophet of doom.. !!!!!!!' ... sometimes being nice doesn't work and you have to hit them right in the intolerance! ... even if you don't do it.. thinking up these things is fun!

I am so tempted - but she would go straight to management and report me. The irony is she reported me to management for being negative - the week after mum's funeral! She's always reporting someone! Then crowing about it.

2nd load pegged out. I was stood watching the washing waft in the breeze - I'm weird like that - and a blackbird flew down really close by and was pecking about on the lawn. I love birds. Sweetie (budgie) was doing his best to cheer me up this morning.

I've eaten. DS and GF have gone out for tea. Federer is winning at tennis.
