    Morning all

Just leaving to head in to the office for the day so flying will be done later. I got ahead of myself and did the bathrooms yesterday, also got DH to vac the stairs (both flights) so house not looking too bad.

I have a few hidden areas that could do with sorting out still so I think I will start tackling those next. May even do one of those this evening!

Hugs, GWS vibes on their way to whoever is in need. Have a good day all x
  • Morning all,

Thinking of Iona and Jazee today. I'm up slightly later than normal, I've had a shower but I've had to put the washing on a quick wash as otherwise I won't have time to hang it out before I leave.

Meeting with my boss this morning I'm going to make it clear I'm being overloaded whilst my job share partner earns the same and does a lot less, I won't be getting stuck in that rut!

New fridge freezer being delivered later hurrah! Have lovely days all x

Morning all. Glad your DH is getting the care he needs Ionafan.

So far today I am dressed, bed is made, dogs are fed and I've taken DH to work. Paid stuff for me next and busy day so not sure how much flying will get done.

    Have a great day everyone.
Spend less now, work less later.

Morning all. Hope the poorly DHs are doing better.
It’s a full day at paid stuff today. Bedding changed so DH can switch on wm later. QHI done. I’m going to try to scoot to the f&v market and fill the car with petrol on my way in. Then I have to run errands on my way home this evening so I hope the traffic behaves itself.
    Have a lovely day everyone.

Anyone seen Lamewolf or JJTF around? Hope they're ok.

Just had a coffee in bed having put a wash on.

    Morning all.

I have work this evening so I'm going to be pacing myself today. I also have the landlady coming this afternoon with a different workman to look at tiling the bathroom. The last one didn't work out, but it was her decision not to use him.

Today's plan is for me to tackle admin, and then DS is going to do some housework. He's got a youth club this evening so will be going out between 3-3.30. I told him last night that there's no more lazing on the sofa, he has two choices : Help with the housework or pay keep. Since he's broke he's got to help with the housework. I figure if I opt for giving him the list each day, he can do that then laze on the sofa or go out. ;) That'll leave me free to get admin and work done, and my admin pile doesn't seem to be getting any smaller no matter how long I work on it. Just as I clear one thing, something else arrives

*Healing vibes* for Mr Ionafan and Mr Jazee.
I hope your meeting went well, ASB.
Lovely welcome home from Miss Muddy Paws, Dancemum. Your kindness is obviously appreciated by her.

Rah rah rah, Wishing the Mortgage Away. I always find tidying up and vacuuming make the house look 100% better, regardless of what else might need doing. It sounds as though it's all got on top of you a little - don't exhaust yourself trying to make it perfect. We all live in a bit of a shambles, to a greater or lesser extent.

Basement vacuumed, tiles and grouting demoulded in shower room and bathroom, high up areas of front door airlock dusted with a very long handled fevver duster, removing webs and leaving a rather elegant spider (v long legs), kitchen floor swept and washed, fronts of units, skirtingboard, kickboards and oven sparkled, grubby marks removed from paintwork (and a bit of paint by mistake *rats*), shower curtains and whites put through the WM and pegged out.

Wanted baked beans on toast for lunch but opened a tin of chopped tomatoes by mistake so had some of that with pesto and goat's cheese on toast instead. Not bad, not bad at all.
    Better is good enough.

Things have not gone to plan today. :rotfl:

Instead of doing paperwork I ended up bathing the dog as the whiff was suddenly very strong today  He smells much sweeter as well as being whiter now and I've put it as a recurring appointment on my calender so it won't be so long next time. :o He's also now been groomed 3 times today, once by DS, then by me, then his bath, then I brushed him through again after his bath. He is still moulting!! :wall: As a result I've also washed the vacuum out and put it outside in the sun to dry. Now it should pick up much better.

I have managed to rearrange 2 physio appointments for me though. One was this Friday for a course and would run for 6 weeks if I missed the first one I couldn't go on the course, so I've asked to be put on the waiting list for September instead as the next course would start the day after DSs results day and is during my two weeks "holiday" from work. I didn't realise how busy my calender was for July, and I have to get my tax return/tax credits stuff done this month, however I plan on getting DS out the house next week as much as possible while schools are still in and he has a bus pass. If I have to do it with him kicking and screaming, I will :rotfl::rotfl: When he gets back from his holiday he wants to decorate his room, by himself, and I want to make a start on the rest of the decorating while the weather is drier and warmer. ;) I already have the stuff, I've just not had the time or energy.

My other physio was one the hospital rebooked (I was meant to go on the 1st but got sent a letter moving it to the 10th) and I was told when I made that appointment that I could just move it if I didn't need it, to a later date so I have. I've got a long overdue dentists appointment that day so that's enough to be getting on with. My new one is for Monday 2nd September so if I'm struggling after decorating it'll be perfect timing:rotfl:

Looks like the landlady isn't turning up with the builder (He or she probably can't make it and she's not bothered to tell me it's not happening ) so I'm going to go and hang out the post-dog-bath wash load out, have a shower (the WM can go on a 60c wash while I'm in it), and go out to work. I need to deliver to someone at 6pm, then probably come home and rest for a bit :o I'll pop back later or tomorrow morning to grab/update mylist. DS has vacuumed the livingroom but with the dog moulting it'll need doing again tomorrow
