Morning all
Dailies done except putting a wash load on, still waiting on DS to get dressed and put his washing in the basket
Delivery for work has arrived and already been mostly sorted, just the detailed "this is out of stock" etc notes and then sealing the bags left to do.
I've just had to very politely ask the binmen who came to clear the fly tipping (weekly occurrence around here!) if they could empty my general waste wheelie bin again! It was only emptied yesterday, but last night I went to put the recycling out and my recycling bin was full to bursting with bubblewrap and plastic, dirty tissues, and various hardware things  I pulled it out and it basically filled my general bin. Initially they said no, but I smiled sweetly and said pretty please, then thanked them profusely when they did :rotfl::rotfl: Now I best fill it again this week with some flinging
Only here for a quick break and now back to work. Hoping to get this part of it done before lunch so DS can put the delivery notes out to customers before he goes out this evening to a school concert in town.
Also hoping I'll get some flying done today once work is done :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Horrible for you both, Ionafan and Jazee. I hope the situations resolve themselves really soon. neither of them sounds good at all, so you must be very worried about them. (((Hugs))) Jazee, does your OH know that he's not insured at work if he's been signed off by a doctor?Organza_Lace wrote: »Tomorrow i plan to incorporate one of the tasks i didnt complete today into my Tuesdays list.
Don't exhaust yourself Organza. I've only very, very rarely managed a whole list, and most tasks do come around the next week.
Most of the house vacuumed which needed it. Shower room sparkled which I wanted off my personal list asap just because it's one of those jobs that I never seem to get round to doing. Anyway, it's done. Now for a shower and then I'll tackle that froggie set of minutes before a dental appointment this afternoon.
I'm banishing all the tadpole jobs as quickly as I can.Better is good enough.0 -
Jazee and Ionafan hope things improve for your OH's
Well this no driving / no walking, is making me very bored, however on the plus side, it will help this months budget as no petrol will be required and it will also keep the miles off my car.

Hi all
Morning of paid stuff done, just had early lunch as I was starving!
Dailies done, bathrooms swished, am just going to pop and do the basics in the living room before I start work again.
Sending all good wishes to those who are worried or stressed, don’t forget to find a little time to look after yourselves as well xx0 -
Hi all, not got a lot done this morning just a quick swish around bathroom and a quick pick up everywhere else. Then up to spend a few hours with my dad he is terminally ill. Back home now quick sandwiche and coffee then off to work. I hope to catch up with the rest when I get home. Hope everyone's having a good day0

HB, yes he knows. He's a stubborn so and so but back home now anyway as he can only move slowly. No doubt he'll try again tomorrow and then I'll get the call to pick him up again.
Cleaned and sorted fridge, did menu plan, got distracted and also prepped some coleslaw, a fresh fruit salad and made some fridge cakes. Then spent 15 minutes weeding.
Going to try walking the dogs again soon then fit in some me time.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Ionafan hope your DH is improving x
Jazee hugs x

Car service appointment changed as I have to travel up the M1 to move DS1 in to his new flat on the day I had booked.
Miss Muddy Paws collected from the Cat ‘otel she was out in a run when I walked across the cattery’s garden. She spotted and shouted me.
I have filled half a small bin with her hair that I brushed off her with a special mitten.
BinL came around for a cuppa to catch up. He and both my sisters are going away for a week from Saturday so I will be “on duty” on my own.

Evening all,
I need to get back at it after several weeks (potentially even months) of slacking on the whole flying thing.
The house is still a building site after one thing and another caused delays to the work needing to be done.
I've got 1.5 weeks to get on top of stuff before heading off to a holiday home for three weeks due to hubby's work. So, I'm back with my lists. Encouragement needed please. (And a telling off when required)

Thanks everyone. DH was taken back into hospital this (actually yesterday) evening and being treated with far more care than on Monday. He will be admitted eventually but when I left him just after midnight he was still being monitored on A&E.
I have managed to clean all through downstairs
I didn't manage to take Rosie for a walk todayShe is being very good about it.
In the morning I plan to clean upstairs and throw some washing in the machine.
In the afternoon I shall be looking after DGD1+2. We will take Rosie for a walk
In between times I shall be doing some church visits and going to see DH. I hope they keep him in for at least 2 nights, then he might be properly fit to come home.0
