I have never had recorded delivery arrive on time. It is usually days late or doesn't arrive at all!

I had my recorded items (off eBay) arrive this morning and the postman didn't bring his book so I didn't have to sign! It's a good job I am an honest eBayer otherwise it would be quite easy to claim they hadn't arrived.

Update on my parcel. Royal Mail rang the bell early (8am) this morning asking if I still had a parcel they delivered 10 days ago.

They have been having grief for not delivering it but they had proof they had delivered. Apparently either the sender or receiver was threatening to go to the press with RM incompetence. Gonna look a bit silly when RM can show them the incorrect address on the parcel :D .

Now if only RM had taken it back when I asked it would have saved a lot of grief. The Postman refused to take it, RM told me to keep it and I even rang Trading Standards who didn't know what to suggest but told me I could treat it as unsolicited goods. Was tempted but it looked like some ebay crap:p

  • You can claim the postage back too when claiming for any parcel which has gone missing.
