Just sticking my head in to report that there is nothing much to report.  ;)

We've not really done much this month, so have hardly spent anything (just groceries and swimming), and I don't even have the enthusiasm to go for a run in this heat either. B)
How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.60% of current retirement "pot" (as at end May 2025)

I have not got the energy to do anything either.  I got up at stupid o clock Sunday to do a coastal walk from Boscastle to Tintagel and ever since then cannot face doing anything other than sitting under our garden gazebo with my feet in a bucket of water reading a book.

    sounds OK to me !!

Me, I love this hot weather.  I just came back from somewhere even hotter and even after paying quite a lot of money to have foreign objects stuck up my nose and down my throat several times and stay at home for 5 days it was still worth it.  The icing on the cake was the heatwave that started just after I got back.  :)

Slept really well last night after playing football yesterday. I thought it would be too hot but in the end it had cooled just a little with a gentle breeze. Had a good run around and then scored the winning goal with a shot the whole length of the pitch after noticing their keeper out of position. Everyone has lost fitness during lockdown but I seem to be recovering well because I can spend more time at the gym as I am the only one playing who is retired.

You decided to brave the overseas travel then?  I am fussy re the weather but would prefer it a little cooler as I have more energy and can get out and hike and cycle.  I think hot weather drains me  but yes for  a few days I don't mind lazing around in the sun with a book and an occasional dip.  Ironic I seem to have come down with a summer cold though :(

Well done and yes being retired means we all have more time to do things we want to rather than have to.  Well done on scoring the goal.

We are just back from a long weekend in the camper - would have loved to stay for longer but there was that pesky job thing to deal with. Did a big walk which included the Seven Sisters to Birling Gap clifftop for the breeze - lovely. Sissinghurst was stunning.
It should be running club tonight but I am not going - I have had heatstroke before and it is not something I need to repeat.

Pffft….the past week we have filled 2 BIG garden waste bins with garden loppings; deployed 2 new fence panels (after painting them twice - we like a dark green background!), & today pruned the MILs front tree with my new 4m extended hedge trimmer.  Couldn’t get the top done: there was a pigeon nest with baby sat on it.  Much as I hate the feral vermin, I felt it mean to carry on🤣)
    Not much other exercise, mind.
Off to Latitude tomorrow: really looking forward to that, always a relaxing festival, easy to wander about, no need to get too close to anyone!!
    Plan for tomorrow, enjoy today!

Enjoy Latitude - we are doing Beautiful Days as our first festival in quite a long time.
