Interrent issues

I had to make a claim via section 75 on my Santander credit card after Interent charged approx £350 damage excess, for pre-existing damage.
They provide an overview here: https://www.santander.co.uk/assets/s3fs-public/documents/chargebacks-and-disputed-transactions.pdf
Basically, send a complaint to interent that makes it clear what you are disputing, and demand a refund. Clearly state at date by which you expect a response, before you take your complaint to your credit card company. You must allow, and wait, 15 working days.
In my case, Interent never acknowledged my complaint, let alone respond to it. I raised a dispute with Santander over the phone, and then responded to them with a copy of the complaint, along with in my case photos of the car when I collected it, plus receipts. Santander responded refunding the payment from the day it had been charged, but advised Interent now had another two months to contest. Interent never did, and I kept my money.
Unnecessary stress. I will never go with Interent again - if only I'd know they were just another brand of Goldcar (and Rhodium) - whom I was already avoiding!0 -
