So shall I just stick to my previous defence and follow the guidelines on the thread 're the Court Hearing?
Yes. But in your Witness Statement and evidence include this:
Judges have disallowed all added parking firm 'costs' in County courts up and down the Country. In Claim number F0DP201T on 10th June 2019, District Judge Taylor sitting at the County Court at Southampton, echoed an earlier General Judgment or Order of DJ Grand, who on 21st February 2019 sitting at the Newport (IOW) County Court, had struck out a parking firm claim.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks again, yes I think they know I am the Keeper and the Driver as the Parking Permit is in my name for my previous accommodation. So going down that route is not an option. However I wasn't given the opportunity to appeal as the 28 day wundow had long gone by the time I received any correspondence from BP. So shall I just stick to my previous defence and follow the guidelines on the thread 're the Court Hearing?

are you saying that the trust has breached the DPA by passing on your permit and accomodation details to the PPC without your permission ?

you have to stick with your defence , because it cannot be changed (already told you that)

your WS will have to be excellent and include stuff missing from the defence, as mentioned above by CM

No the trust did not breach terms. They got info from DVLA. Yes I'll put in details as above on WS. Thanks for all your help! I'm working in Poole so may have to travel to IW (home base) for Court appearance, which is expensive, plus take time off work unless they will change Hearing to Poole. Do I have to be there or does it look bad if I don't turn up? Can my Mother be authorised to attend instead of me do you know?

If you are the named defendant, you have to turn up. You could ask the court to hear the case "on papers" but, unless you've got a VERY strongly written defence and witness statement, that is not recommended.

You can put down your local court in Poole if you like, it's your choice to make at the DQ stage

Indeed, as an individual then you name YOUR preferred court. Not theirs.

I assumed DQ had been submitted (didn't read back through the thread) as we are at Witness Statement stage!

As others have said, you can nominate Poole court if you like.

    But, think carefully.

Poole and Bournemouth have shown not to have much sympathy with private parking victims - tending to err on the side of the Claimant.

On the other hand, as said earlier, Newport and Southampton have a better record.

fair comment , in which case the OP has already nominated a chosen local county court , so moving it may be difficult

if they havent nominated a court yet, then its decision time
