Have you had your cashback yet?

Nope - raised a claim on 1st July and still waiting.

It seems I was one of the lucky ones with the first issue I opened. Given the problems others have had I'll refrain from trying a second issue - it's not worth the effort if there is such a high chance of rejection.

Are you saying the rejection is likely due to 'taking the piddle' - by opening multiple savers just for the cashback?

Clearly not in all cases, but appealing a rejection when it's your second or third claimed incentive is unlikely to be successful.

Except if they are different issues they are different products paying different interest rates- that's the argument I would be taking.
However I hope that it won't come to that in my case!!

another vote for 'purchase price'- £100

[EDIT: I found where to claim if your cashback is 'declined' but under "purchase amount" what do i put? £15.00 because that's the cashback amount i'm due, minus the £0.15 topup?
Or do i put £0 as i didn't actually 'purchase' anything?

In my earnings history, it shows the purchase price as £1

Your money may go "down and up and down and up and down and up and down ... down and up and down and up and down and up and down ... I got all tricked up and came up to this thing, lookin' so fire hot, a twenty out of ten..."

Clearly states on the listing under "good to know"

"Recurrences on the number of purchases while earning cashback may be limited"

Those who get more than 1 cashback payment merely lucky

Yes, I wasn't expecting more than one, but decided to chance it

I had also considered I might not get any, but little lost even in that case as it's only a few pennies less than Marcus keeping my saves of £100 with the AA.

It's a bit weird that the payouts seem a bit random

  • What is the "order number" that is "8 digits and starts with a 2" for non ISAs?

Is this TopCashback's renaming of what everyone else calls an account number? Since my account numbers are 8 digits and begin with 2 then that's the only thing i can think of.
Can't say i've ever been asked for my sort code and order number when providing bank details though.

Except it's my first that's been declined. My second is still pending.

    Same here.

Though i also contacted TopCashBack and they advised to enter £100 as that's the amount that i deposited.
