  • Hi all, last day off today, back at work tomorrow and am dreading it. Enjoy my job but it really draining trying to sort people's lives out and not getting very far.

Going back to this year going fast... my theory is that since I had my LBM, I seem to be wishing for the next payday so I can pay another chunk of debt off... my life is just spent waiting for 23rd of each month and I discount all the other days inbetween!

On a postive note.. I have started a thread arranging a meet in London on possibly 5 April next year. Would love to meet you all so please come!
Second and final LBM 01/01/11 Nearly got there but fell of wagon. HAVE to do it this time

Mum and dad went on holiday nearly 3 weeks ago and asked me to give their house keys to the tiler so he could tile their bathroom. He'd pass the key onto the plumber who'd install the toilet, shower, bath and radiator. All I had to do each day was unalarm the house in the morning and alarm it in the evening. This I have diligently done - but my brother did it when I was in Torquay!:D

This morning, I went to turn on their central heating (to take the chill off the air before they got home) but had to turn it off when I could hear running water:confused:. I figured I'd sort it out tonight (still before they get home).

Mum has just phoned. They're back:eek:. Until the plumber fixes the toilet and heating they'll be camping out at my house.

Wayne is going to be p!ssed about this - I'm not exactly overjoyed. My dilemma - because the workmen are friends of my brothers - should I DEMAND that he put [STRIKE]up with them [/STRIKE] them up until their bathroom is usable;)? Or should I help my brother track down the workmen to get the job done faster?

I'd worry i would turn up at a meet, say my name and everyone would look at me blankly! As if to say, "who?"

I'm not fishing or looking for replies back to say anyone knows or cares, just a fear i have. I dunno how long it takes to become known in these parts... does that make sense? Does anyone else feel like that?

I have the same thoughts as Maz.

    "HBFS? Who?" *minor panic*

I've taken the day off sick today as I slipped coming out of the shower and !!!!!! my knee.

Thanks Keren, i really wasn't fishing for people to say they knew me!

Thanks also, HBFS, i'm glad it's not just me!

Sounds painful re the knee, too many showers are bad for you, it's true! Enjoy the extra day off!!! I think you deserve it! Maybe you'll even have a NSD to report tomorrow if you stay cosied up at home!

What does HBFS stand for anyway?
