Same old...BW Legal
Comments

You submit the SAR to the PPC, they are the ones who would have all the info and data about you. The advice is never to phone BW Legal. If you were told it was OK to park there, that is something you can use in your defence and is called promissory estoppel. Just submit the SAR as is, it was from the legal beagles web site, so should be fine!0

I think I spoke too soon about that other ticket! The one where I screwed up and threw away! They have just sent me a letter still asking for the 'debt' but if I pay £100 within 14 days I don't accrued added costs! How can they justify charging me £100 when my ticket only ran out for 10 minutes?! And 10:30 at night!?!! Aarghjh so sick of all this
feel like taking out a loan just stop the letters coming through! 0 -
They can send you an invoice for any amount for any reason any time they like
The time of day or night is irrelevant
Enforcing it in a court of law is a different matter entirely0 -
It says the next step is court too

That's designed to frighten you to pay
Creditors always have the option to take court action over unpaid invoices!
You know the ropes now. Don't be intimidated!0 -
They can't, and that is defendable. How can they justify charging me £100 when my ticket only ran out for 10 minutes?!
If both cases are from the same PPC about the same car, contravention and location, and the only difference is the date, then write to BW Legal now and tell them:
- you have requested a SAR from their client
- you are seeking debt advice*
- there are two PCNs regarding duplicate facts, PCN xxxxxx and PCN xxxxxx and under the doctrines of fairness and with proportionately lower court costs in mind, you require that their client provides the SAR for both PCNs and that BW Legal issue just one claim for the two PCNs, not duplicate claims.
- Given this fair warning to consolidate the PCNs into one claim, should they now fail to do so you will complain to the Judge and seek your full costs on a £19 per hour basis (the LiP rate) from now on, for the time taken to deal with duplicate matters, with the associated extra printing and wasted postage and your valuable time which would be better spent not dealing with parking scammers.
(Do they only have one address for you? All good as long as the PPC never had an old address, and certainly defendable and winnable in court).
*you do not have to say where from. These are magic words to buy you 30 days.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Same car but completely different circumstances. The first one is the BW Legal and this one is SIP parking as I bought 4 hours worth of time but the gig ran over and it was by 10 minutes! No one can predict how long a gig will take...I thought 4 hours was sufficient! So do I write a SAR separate? Or is it not at that stage for the SIP one yet?0

Is one BW Legal for UKPPO, and the other Gladstones for SIP?
Send a SAR to the PPC for both, there is no set timeline and it's good to see their hand.
When you get a LBC or claim from Gladstones re the new SIP one, start a new thread to keep them separate. They are different claims, locations, facts, PPCs, solicitors and dates of claim forms etc. so we must have two threads from you, to support you properly.PRIVATE 'PCN'? Yes, I have already had a letter from 'Gladstones' but when I googled the address and phone number etc it didn't come up as Gladstones so I presumed it is a scare tactic which I have read about so ignored it. Didn't hear from them for ages! Now they have sent out a letter asking for me to pay the 'debt', which is confusing as according to them they have already gone to a solicitor's?! It's like they have back tracked...
Shall I continue this one about SIP on my other thread?0 -
Gladrags correct address is the Knutsford golf club one
anything without that adddress and stating to pay someone else has not come from Gladrags, usually its DRPL using letter headed paper (a fake solicitors letter)0
