Question regarding ethical/religious beliefs and DWP sanctions?

Indeed it is. Because I'm entitled to make consumer decisions.
If my viewpoint is popular that business will suffer, if not then it wont.
Not sure using inflammatory language is necessary...
Indeed. How would you differentiate between legitimate reasons such as age or say, allergy or whatever, and religious reasons, just by looking at the person?
Inflammatory language? :rotfl:0 -
Indeed. How would you differentiate between legitimate reasons such as age or say, allergy or whatever, and religious reasons, just by looking at the person? - By using my judgment? Same as anyone making any decision?
Inflammatory language? :rotfl:
yes. Flounce. no need for that. - you're suggesting I'm simply throwing a hissy fit.0 -
Whilst I disagree with that, as I do try my best to be polite - whether you agree with what I say or not.
By your logic it's ok to 'lower' yourself to my level. kudos.
You're the one complaining, I'm merely pointing out the irony.
My post was not using inflammatory language.
I dont think the word 'flounce' could ever be interpreted as inflammatory or aggressive...0 -
I mean if you left a shop because of something you were unhappy with, making it clear that was the reason you were leaving, thats the very definition of a flounce, no?
We were throwing up dictionary definitions of ignorant earlier, lets do it for flounce!0 -
In a different shop...
Pandering to the demands of people based upon their belief in some figure (whether real or not) has no place in a civilised society.
How would you know you were pandering to their religious beliefs just by looking at them? How do you know there wasnt another reason for them not to be able to serve you?0 -

If the cap fits....
Much bigger things to worry about in life than the perceived reasons why someone may not be able to / choose to serve you.
Perhaps for you. Some of us have less to worry about I guess

Sure:
go or move in an exaggeratedly impatient or angry manner.
an exaggerated action intended to express annoyance or impatience. How would you know you were pandering to their religious beliefs just by looking at them? How do you know there wasnt another reason for them not to be able to serve you?
I'm not pandering to anyone's religious beliefs. Have you read what I've written. I've said business should be sectarian.0 -
Shop have restricted opening hours on a sunday. Is that not pandering to religious beliefs?
Have you seen me arguing for restricted hours?
Why not just let businesses get on with it.
If there's a demand for alcohol free queue's fine.KatrinaWaves wrote: »I mean don't get me started on that :rotfl: Many a time have I left myself short of stuff and left it too late on a Sunday! 24 hour opening for all!
