No there isn’t. I did phone last night and of course got the usual we can put up our prices as long as we give you notice and you can leave. Yes I can leave BT Sport and now have done but really this is blatant misadvertising. I didn’t sign up to a monetary discount which I know keeps the discount fixed for the term but the price can increase. I signed up to a BB package that also offered FREE Bt Sport for 18 months.
I’ve cancelled Bt Sport now but also lodged an official complaint via Resolver. We’ll see what happens.0 -

Has anyone rang BT about the overall effects of this? I am 10 months into a 18 month contract which gave me BB & phone @ £23.99 per month, BT TV starter pack free for 18 months and BT Sport for £4 per month for 18 months.
The email I received only states an increase to the sport pack and I can keep my price @ £4 by renewing to a new 18 month contract. So if I accept that and it also renews my BB and TV do I keep those services at the same price or will they go up as a new contract won't keep ym current discounts?
I will ring them but want to do my research first so I know what I am entitled to regards the current discounts I get.

The next definite published BT BB price increase is March 2020 based upon CPI for January .
Normally you keep or better current discounts providing you haggle .0 -
Got quite lucky and got through to a guy in Newcastle and he offered-
£21.99 for broadband and calls and £14 for MAX HD tv so total of £35.99 for next 18 months. I like footy so will use BT Sport. Seems like a decent deal to me and actually less than i'm paying at the moment of £38.99 as i was a bit hasty agreeing the last time and others got a better deal.
14 days cooling off period for the above.
Till we meet again BT.....and i'm sure we will in about a year no doubt!!0 -
