    Could have chosen a different hotel.

    Not 1 I would choose myself. Just buy yourself some drink and some plastic cups, same for snacks and eat out if the food is crap.

    If you need 24 hour alcohol it might be an idea but OP hasn't returned returned to give any more info on this one particular hotel and his very individual "needs" . Personally I've found BW pretty good but I'm not sure AI is their area at all.

    I have stayed in a few, mostly in the USA, they have all been ok but then again I wasn’t looking for a 24 hour bar

    I've always found BW quite reasonable 4* properties. I didn't know they did AI resort type hotels.
