Yes, but what is the lack of it actually worth? Probably the difference in price between a package which had a 16 hour bar and one with a 24 hour bar. Which wouldn't be much.

I guess so. However, on holiday I love a drink in the middle of the night as I tend not to sleep much. It was a big shame that the snack bar did not also run.

Hi all, I appreciate the replies.
When I mean "tourist food" I mean food that is universally acceptable, not rabbit meat!
    I don't appreciate the cockiness...

I have spoken to Booking.com who have liaised with the hotel, who aren't budging.
Booking.com have offered £25 compensation as a "gesture"
I have been in touch with head office of Best Western to see what they can do.

Taking the inedible food out, is it plausible to think that I should be entitled to the 24 hour bar and snacks bar THAT WAS ADVERTISED AND THAT I PAID FOR?

Rabbit is a common meat in many countries - Spain, France, Italy that I know of. Ate some in Spain earlier this month - very tasty. It is a universally eaten meat, though not as common in Britain as it once was.

If you want 24 hour food and alcohol then I can recommend Las Vegas for your next holiday - everything is available around the clock. They also have plenty of Best Westerns there to use your compo vouchers.

Nope, still none the wiser on the food front.

How about telling us specifically what is on offer for the 3 meals a day?
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

    Brits abroad huh.
I’m pretty broad in my food tastes but I always research the food at hotels as a priority before I book it.
If you are one of those who have a long list of foods you don’t eat, eg, anything with seafood, no spice, nothing foreign, no sauces , you need to be extra careful.

Why not get a drink at 5 minutes to midnight and keep it and drink it at 3am or whenever you like to drink?

They might give you a brown paper bag to store it in.

Are you saying that there is only rabbit meat and chips? That sounds incredibly unlikely. What’s the actual choice of foods, and where are you?

This matters, as if the complaint is that the chicken had sauce on it and the steak was cooked medium, not well done then that’s very different to the food being dog and rabbit and durian salad.
