Stock up on snacks too ?0

I have to say, I'm slightly with the OP on this. If I was choosing a hotel for AI, and they advertised an late-night snack bar and 24hr drinks - and all other factors being equal - I'm likely to choose that hotel because Marley is a night owl and appreciates those facilities. So to find out the bars weren't open, would diminish the holiday. I'm not sure £25 would cover it, depending on the length of holiday, purchasing bottled drinks and snacks for late night could cost more. I wouldn't like to drink a beer at 3am that had been sat opened since just before midnight; similarly some snacks will lose their freshness; so we'd have to shop.
However I'm puzzled by the food. What food is there? I cannot believe rabbit is all they serve.
tbh. this is why we self-cater rather than go AI.:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

Hi all, I appreciate the replies.
When I mean "tourist food" I mean food that is universally acceptable, not rabbit meat!
I don't appreciate the cockiness...
I have spoken to Booking.com who have liaised with the hotel, who aren't budging.
Booking.com have offered £25 compensation as a "gesture"
I have been in touch with head office of Best Western to see what they can do.
Taking the inedible food out, is it plausible to think that I should be entitled to the 24 hour bar and snacks bar THAT WAS ADVERTISED AND THAT I PAID FOR?
I too am sympathetic to the no 24 hour bar and snacks as it's simply unfair if that's what you were told but I'd love to see your idea of what's " universally acceptable" , so I dont think the op will return0 -

I must admit, all inclusive at a Best Western is a surprising choice.
We had our first ever all-inclusive holiday a year back, at the Gran Meli! in Tenerife, at their “Red” level, and it really was quite special. I recommend giving them a try next time, and it wasn’t crazy expensive.0 -
OP what country are you in?
I thought Best Western were a uk brand.0 -
I thought Best Western were a uk brand.
Nope, it's an American-based chain. Half their hotels are in the US.

I didn’t know that. But the sort of holiday the op is describing sounds more Mediterranean.0
