I've never heard from Ofgem. I didn't bother trying. They're not going to answer me. I tweet @OvoEnergy @GrantThorntonUK and @EconomyEnergy on my Twitter timeline. GrantThorntonUK then asked me to DM them on Twitter with account details but I haven't heard since. I sent a letter by recorded delivery to Grant Thornton back in May and of course I've not heard. These people aren't worth their paychecks.

I've never had a reply on that one. I used to get all my communications on this one: customer.services@economyenergy.co.uk which is how I got my bill reviewed, but of course all that stopped.

After continual harassment on Twitter I have finally had a direct email from Grant Thornton UK to say they are investigating why my EE bill hasn't been finalised despite it being recalculated back in June. This marks a first (and almost feels like a milestone success) although I don't doubt for one minute that there will be plenty of excuses yet as to why they won't be paying me anytime soon.
  • Step in the right direction I suppose @falcieri

I've just twittered them as I had no reply to my email.

I refuse to give up. This is my money and if we don't shout and scream about it we won't get it back. I genuinely think they don't intend to give us the money unless we work for it. The law is not on our side. There is no protection for consumers.

I've had a scan through the thread and can't see anyone with the same issue as me...

I received an email from EE today saying my bill is now ready, however after logging in I see balance owing as £0.00 and no bill to confirm my credit balance. Which i am expecting as I was in credit around £100 with meter reading upto date and an Extra DD was taken after they went into administration.

p.s. during my 7 day switch to another provider EE went into administration.

Check the invoices on your account. They zeroed my account but on the paperwork attached they showed what they actually owed me. And yes it was a PRO forma invoice.

I kid you not a cheque from OVO has just landed on my doormat for what I am owed from EE. I am pulling on my shoes and running to the bank before they change their minds and cancel it!
