An average gas user (on any half decent tariff) doesn't even pay their supplier £500 in a whole year0 -

I got my final bill in May which was a total mess and I refuse to believe I owe them what they say I do. I told them to review my bill when I showed them the multiple errors. They told me in July that they had reviewed my bill and it was with their manager to be cleared and I've not heard anything since. I also wrote to the administrators in May and have never had anything from them.
Ironically I've just tapped into my account online and it now says I owe them zero. Correct, but I'm also pretty sure they owe me about £200, which of course isn't showing. So that's interesting.....0 -
I'm still chasing Ovo for my refund of £70. They've confirmed the amount, advised twice the cheque in the post (each time asking me to wait 14 working days) but I've still not received it.
I've now raised a complain with Resolver but they won't reply to it because the complaint is not using my registered email address. This is so frusttrating and a total waste of my time!
Has anyone successfully received a refund? Did they send a cheque or pay by BACS? I'm getting nowhere with this.0 -

I received an e-mail from Grant Thornton/Economy Energy 5 weeks ago with the outstanding balance of 1100 pounds supposedly owing to Economy Energy. I was in dispute with Economy Energy over incorrect meter readings and of course as soon as EE went bust OFGEN wash their hands of it. Today I have received an e mail saying I havent got in touch and it will be in the hands of Debt Collectors if I they dont hear from me in seven days, I immediately sent a reply to them which BOUNCED, Rang the number to confirm e-mail. Re sent it and it bounced again.Rang them again asked for a correspondence address and was REFUSED. Won`t go into full details but the condescending snotty woman said to me "well you have to pay your debts! At that point I insisted on her name her supervisor and she refused, Needless to say call was ended. How do I stand legally? The amount of energy consumed according to their readings are well disproportionate to my usual consumption and my current consumption with anohter (decent) supplier. There is an obviuos error in the meter readings. Becaiseuzse OFGEN have no input now am I !!!!!!ed? PS dont dispute gas owed justbthe electricity0 -

I am currently waiting for my magical cheque. I am now on the 'if you haven't had it in 15 days please feel free to chase us up' stage. So we'll see. I chased them today. So near and yet so far.0 -
Ovo does now agree that the final Economy Energy readings and Ovo readings must be the same. The Economy administrator correctly used the real smart meter readings. Of course, the Ovo imaginary readings would favour Ovo. Ovo is still insistent that Ovo imaginary readings should replace the correct smart meter readings. I wonder how much Ovo accountants have tweaked the readings for other customers.I have osteoarthritis in my hands so I speak my messages into a microphone using Dragon. Some people make "typos" but I often make "speakos".0

I am being pestered by ACIC, the debt collection agency acting forEconomy Energy’s liquidations- they claim I owe Economy Energy money, yet when I left, in October last year (2018) I was almost £200 IN CREDIT[! an amount EE agreed THEY owed ME. My final bills showed exactly how much I was owed, but EE kept fobbing me off with excuses as to why they couldn’t refund me. After OVO took over they refunded me, and I thought the whole sorry business was finished.
Now mysteriously, a DEBIT balance has appeared on line for my account ! I have provided proof throughcopies of emails fromEE & OVO & a copy of my bank statement showigthat OVO refunded me, but ACIC seem to think this may not be the end of the matter as everything depends on whether the liquidators believe my proof or EE’s false records!
Has anyone else been contacted by this company? If so did the liquidators believe you or did they prefer to believe a company that has been shown to have falsified bills meter readings etc?0
