As a follow up, Green did a 10%credit cash back in end of Jan, which paid out 60 days later when you topped up your account. That has all paid out as stated. Depending on what you wanted to top up, it's a very good return over 60 days. Factor that in, and I am still on best deal with no exit fees, beaten by five quid on a fixed deal. Still no problems with meter reads and bills produced, will stick with it a bit longer til something persuades me.

Joined green beginning of 2020 for electricity only following a bad experience with another supplier.
I stayed with my gas supplier at the time as I was happy with them
However at end of January 2021 I switched my gas too and am now on Hazelwood duel fuel tariff
Ok it's variable and can alter anytime but I'll deal with that if or when it happens
In the meantime I'm on the cheapest duel fuel tariff for me
Very happy with green. Only slight gripe is the meter read reminders and impending bill notices don't tally with when the actual bills are produced but I know to ignore them now and give my readings for a 26th of the month bill date . This gives me an actual not estimated bill
Keep up the good work green0 -

Agreed, make sure you do your own meter read before 26th to get your actual bill not an estimate

Is anybody having issues signing into their Green account, installing the app or contacting them?As usual, I took my meter readings for submission and recorded them in my spreadsheet before attempting to log in to Green to submit my readings for billing purposes. Even this morning and I still waiting for the magic link to arrive - and I have checked the email address is correct and tried several more times. My junk/spam and deleted folder are all empty, so clearly the email isn't being discarded by some over enthusiastic spam filter.I installed the app on my phone in hope of being able to submit my meter readings this way. Again, this requires a magic link which I am also still waiting for. Also the reviews on Google Play (link) reflect my own experience. So it's not just something at my end. Finally I tried to contact Green this morning on live chat. Their options do not allow me to speak to an advisor, so I am sat on the phone in a queue while making this post. The options given to me by the bot when it asks "What can we help you with today?" are totally useless and don't enable me to speak with anybody.I am beginning to wonder if this is the beginning of the end, as I am feeling the same vibes that I did when I was with Iresa - at least they let me log in, though!Overall a very bad experience when trying to do something basic, such as log in and submit a meter reading. Not good.1

Are you using version 3 of the appI installed the version offered to me this morning on Play Store - 3.0.3, as shown in my phone's App Info screen. After waiting a little over 30 minutes to speak with somebody on the phone, I was told that this was a known issue with some email providers - well why has it suddenly stopped working and I haven't changed my email address? Peculiar.Anyway the workaround was to enter my mobile number in place of my email address. A code was quickly sent to my phone and allowed me to access my account via the website. The same process was also successful for installing the app on my Android phone.I am still going to raise an official complaint about this, as the magic links appear to have lost their magic. As proven by myself last night, not appropriate when I want to enter meter readings and not able to contact an advisor on live chat. I will never understand what's wrong with a password, which works so well with many other of Green's competitors.Quite simply, the currents methods of using their website are just not good enough.0

I set mine up to use my fingerprint. Never been a fan of the magic link but it still occasionally insists on sending one. Doesn't cause me any grief though to be fair0

Not good.I submitted my meter reading yesterday via the website without issue so maybe a temporary glitch? As a fellow ex-Iresa sufferer I've found Green to be far better. The closest comparison at the moment seems to be Symbio0

Whatever you do I'd advise against joining symbio. The horror stories on the forums are mostly true. I was a customer for 12 months . They really are as awful as people say0
