Happy Monday!
Hope you have all had a fab weekend. My weekend was a good weekend and not as spendy as expected.
Saturday - I spent the 1st part of the day watching my DD in her drama performance which she loved! It was fab to see her work paying off with her learning her poems and songs/dance:) Then i went into Leeds with the boys for boxing at the Arena which would normally be quite a spendy day but managed to limit spends. YAY!!!
Sunday - Yesterday was quite a relaxed day spent it playing games with DD and watching films and eating junk, haha.
To Do Today:
Check bank accounts as some payments have come out today.0 -
Pleased you still managed to enjoy the boxing0

Evening All,
Today has been a quiet day just spent enjoying some down time, trying to enjoy the remainder of my days off work. It has also been a NSD which is always good. I haven't really done much MSE wise over last few days other than read more diaries.
I've been thinking about targets for begining of July and also thinking about a debt free target. Its strange because ideally i want to debt free ASAP but is it reasonable for me to expect to be debt free within a year? It took way longer to build up the debt. In my head i am thinking every single penny has to go on paying debt and i am not sure that is going to be sustainable. Food for thought i guess.0 -
You could try a couple of months spending every penny on the debt and then slow down a bit. It would be hard to pay that much off without any treats or anything to look forward to.Aiming to make £7,500 online in 20220

Hey Karonher,
i think that is the way i am going to go at it. I reckon if i can do 3 months of hard work, there will have been enough progress made that means there is a few extra pounds spared in the monthly outgoings. There is a few bills that i currently pay monthly that i would love to get cleared ASAP and this would free up a little to allow the treats fund to increase a little. I feel that as long as i see progress and the figure dropping i will be happy.
I am going to work hard at it for 3 months and then assess where I am at then and see what the plan is from there.0 -
Hi Dan
First of all well done on another NSD :T
Assessing where you are in 3 months sounds like a good plan.
Have you got a plan/date in mind for achieving your first goal of paying your mum back? This may help motivate you on days when you think thing are slow going or difficult.
Take care x0 -

Hi Dancing
In an ideal world I want my mum cleared off by end of July and looking at the figures that should be possible. If I can achieve that then that will be a huge relief for me as this as been hanging over us a while. Once this goal is achieved I plan to focus elsewhere. I have a couple of monthly commitments that are due to be paid off in August so that seems like a good time to assess where I am at and what position that puts me in going forward and in to xmas period haha.0 -
Sounds like you've thought everything through, good luck! Only 43 days until end of July and achieving goal 1;)0

Hi All,
Not posted here for a few days which is unusual ha! Last few days have been pretty quiet money wise. Yesterday was a NSD (which i need to track more), today not so much!:rotfl: I took the little one out to go watch Toy Story 4....honestly we went for the childs benefit. Also got food shopping and petrol for the week.
In Debt news I have paid £140 off the total of what i owed Mum so that is a major plus. Hopefully this means I can pay her off by middle of July and also means i am under 6k
