Morning All.
Happy Fri-yay!.
Work was not anywhere near as bad as I thought it would be but the vibe is just not good. I plan just to keep my head down and get on with it until it either calms down or I have a new job.
NSD yesterday, seem to just be getting these very often to the stage now I don't actually see it as achievement anymore because its become the norm haha. A few days til payday and til some payments can come out
Also made last monthly car insurance payment the other day so I have now have two 'free' months where I plan to save what I would normally pay in hope I can pay off in full when renewal comes around in March (here is hoping).
Have a good day.0 -
you have a good plan and you're sticking to it - that's 95% of the job done
now all you need is the passage of time and avoidance of relapses/stupidity - then within not very long at all you'll be in the blackI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
Drinking milk shakes, cold and long
Smiling and waving and looking so fine0 -
Well done Mr.
It's a great thing that NDS's have become the norm but still count those as an achievement cos that's what they are!
Have a nice weekend.0 -

I still have the odd moments of i want to buy things but i am so far managing to resist temptation very well. I am so keen to get rid of the debt and have belief that my focus will allow me to get this done this year. Hopefully once i am debt free and stable in finance terms buying the odd treat will not make me feel guilty.0 -

Yeah they are deffo a sign of things moving in the right direction. My weekend is full of working unfortunately haha. Which sucks coz due to hours means not spent much time with daughter this week apart from seeing her sleep! But needs must i guess
Hope you have an amazing weekend too0 -
Morning All,
Last shift at work todaythen four days off.
Not really got much planned today. Work could possibly be busier than normal but if I do get chance I will go through my budget for the upcoming month. Payday tomorrow and although i have less than i have the last few months coming up to payday there is still more money than month.
Plan Today
- Go through budget for upcoming month.
- Address where i can overpay if possible but may be tight. (Ideally i want to pay £300 off my debt this month which takes me to 2K paid since start of journey which would be ace but could be tight. )0 -
More money than month is a fine place to be.
I'll let you know when I get there. Not January for me that's for sure !!. Maybe next month - Feb has all the advantages for me - its short!, no major bills, and on holiday for half of it and mostly paid!!I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
Drinking milk shakes, cold and long

I'm doing the same today - budget planning.
I really need to do better at tracking my spending and also stop shopping!0 -

Spending I am currently not too bad at, however I am guilty of not really tracking the little spends or spends in general very well. I have a way better idea of where money is going now and the bills and debts are in better shape than ever but I still think theres work to do0 -
Its all a work in progress isn't it and lets face it we are never going to be perfect but as long as I can feel more in control the majority of the time I will be happy.0
