You can safely ignore the threatening letter - just another debt collecting attempt - you know the likelihood of court claims as their last resort when debt collecting attempts fail0

Hi guys, sorry for the delay Coupon-Mad.
I now have an unfinished draft for my POPLA appeal and would really appreciate some feedback if any. It's due next weekend so I will be finishing it off during the week/weekend.

Debt Recovery Plus and Zenith Collections have also sent me last chance letters for older, un-appealed charges. It seems they have changed one of the charges reason for issue to "PARKED IN PERMIT AREA WITHOUT DISPLAYING A PERMIT". Not sure why they haven't changed the rest as they're all for the same thing
.
Thanks for your help so far guys!0 -
            Nice work venousdata

The terrible twins, just let them play with themselves, they might go blind ?0 -
            Good POPLA appeal.
The only things I saw to remove/change were:
- the intro (search the forum for split infinitive and see why it makes me scream!)
- where you put 'UKPC have proven...mere seconds'. No, they haven't proven anything as they are perfectly capable of falsifying timings on photos, and have done in a case in the media.
Change it to 'UKPC have purportedly shown a few seconds...' or similar.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Sorry, I've submitted my POPLA appeal before I read your feedback!
Hopefully it's not case-breaking. Regardless I'll be using many points from the POPLA appeal and a revised version for my witness appeal when the time comes.
Any more feedback on my submitted version would be appreciated!

Hi All, a quick update and question:
UKPC are yet to submit their evidence for their defence of my POPLA appeal, so hopefully they drop it soon.
Ive begun receiving a threatening letters from SCS Law and have been ignoring them thus far, but was wondering if I need to write back to them regarding this at all?
The only time I have written to them so far is to change my address and rectify my data. Conveniently, DRP changed one letter on my post code so the mail they send to me arrives around 2 weeks late.

Are you saying that this is still with POPLA ????
If so, UKPC involving SCSLaw before a POPLA decision is not allowed and warrants a complaint to the BPA about UKPC0 -
            Sorry for the confusion,
I originally had a total of 9 invoices from UKPC.
I was unaware of these until recently, so after some time I managed to get one cancelled.
7 of the remaining 8 invoices were beyond the time limit for appeals, with only one being within the time limit.
So out of 9 invoices, one got cancelled, one is currently at POPLA appeal stage, and seven have gone beyond debt recovery stage, which is what I think SCS law are writing to me about.
I just wanted to be sure that it’s safe to ignore SCS until an actual Letter of Claim comes through.
Thanks0 -
OK, it's the letter of claim that matters
See if they will add on fake amounts

            Thanks!
It seems they have added an extra £60 to each invoice making them £160 each which is breaking the PoFA 2012.
Should I mention this to them now, or wait and add a section about abuse of process in my witness statement?0
