Family issue, feeling backed into a corner and angry

You say you feel backed into a corner. But I say the only thing doing that to you is you - your mind, and your feelings about it.
Holding on to anger for months over something which, in reality, in facts, was a minor skirmish - is only going to hurt YOU. No one else. Everyone else has moved on - and it seems you should too
I do feel sorry for your sister, it sounds like she is stuck in the middle of a difficult situation whilst dealing with a very difficult teenager.
At the end of the day, it was a minor skirmish. Nothing more, stop bigging it up, in your head, into a big drama. Yes it was a bad thing to happen, but breathe and move on
I dont mean that in a nasty way - as bad as it may come across BTW, I just mean you need to let it go, for your own sake - it is very bad for your mental healthThe opposite of what you know...is also true0
