Hi all,
recently opened a TSB account the one where you get 5% interest ( dropping to 3% shortly)
I am transferring the required amount of money in per month ( £500) but not receiving any interest, I must be doing something wrong, can I just check
do I need to have any direct debits coming out of this account ? or is there anything obvious anyone can think of that I'm doing wrong and not getting the monthly interest for
thanks

You don't need any DDs for interest but check online that you are set to paperless, if not, you won't get interest.0

Hi,
You also need to be registered for internet banking and paperless statements and paperless correspondence.
Edit: I'm too slow typing lol....everyone else got here first...I work within the voluntary sector, supporting vulnerable people to rebuild their lives.
I love my job0 -
Are you registered for Internet Banking ?Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0

You should not expect to see your interest for last month until tomorrow. TSB always credit the Plus interest on the second working day of the month0
