I have a postal fixed rate Virgin Bond maturing 1st May 2020 I contacted them by secure message as I have an online account informing them that I was in a vulnerable group not allowed outside by order of the government. I received a telephone call from them and after going through security and questions about the account they agreed to move the matured funds to an online account I have with them. After I received an email telling me I had a secure message -which confirmed the phone call agreement.

Received new letter from Virgin. Still no mention that you can transfer to external account.

!!!!!! that wasn't the mistake which is causing/will cause them problems!

This is what is amazing - no suggestion of moving it out of Virgin. When other RSs mature there is always that opportunity in the 'approaching maturity' letter.
    Absolutely.

For the first time ever I've been the first (09.30 for me) to report the arrival of Virgin RS maturity funds or the announcement of a new Virgin RS. One more off the bucket list!
(had to do it in the main RS thread though as I've still not got used to this shiny new MSE which I don't particularly like)

FCP using one of their franked envelopes at a PO thinking that may be better than the nearest post box in a wall. On the 22nd.

Posted our passbooks to local branch (using their stamped addressed envelope) on Monday 27th April.
Wife and I received funds this morning around 9am, thanks to Barbara, our former Saffron BS manager.
