Just wanted to check in and say hi, I find it comforting hanging around here at the moment even if I don't have much to say.
Feeling quite worried about how my Mum is going to manage with the lockdown, she doesn't have any online access (not interested) & few hobbies so the days are going to be long for her.
I've collected some puzzle books, DVD's, jigsaws & novels to help keep her occupied but really all I want to do is to pack all her things up and move her in with us but then that could potentially put her at risk too 😭
I'm sure it will all work out but right now I'm just feeling really frazzled, so much uncertainty and lack of normal routine is having a big impact on me & I'm not sleeping well.
I need to get to the shop too as supplies are low but I just can't face it, may delegate to DH as he still has to go to work for now so may as well pick some groceries up while he's out anyway.
Sorry for the moan, just needed a bit of a brain dump I think.
Hope anyone who pops in here is well, take care of you & yours. I am dropping in on diaries to catch up, even if I'm not commenting.
Stay safe xx

Sorry to hear you are feeling frazzled and struggling to sleep. Could you change some of your sleep routines to help with that? Perhaps a relaxing bath or shower, candles and no screens for at least an hour before bed?Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

As they said after 911 - this is the time to dust off your treasures and enjoy them. While you are at it - light a candle in thanks for those who serve and in prayer for the words we can't quite say....Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Love that @savingholmes are they your own designs? thank you @beanielou & @FootyFanDan
After doing some work I took the boys for a walk to my Mum's. Dropped some supplies on her doorstep & she stood at the window with her phone, I put my mobile on speaker phone so the boys could hear her & chat to her too, cheered us all up. Poor Mum though she looked sad. Will do the same for M-I-L tomorrow, thankfully there's not often many people on the routes we have to take so was easy to maintain social distancing.
Tonight I'll be following advice given & having a balanced meal, then staying away from the tv and social media before having a bath & an early night.
Definitely need to take stock and count my blessings, I have many including you lovely lot here 💞6 -
The ship design I found online somewhere - not sure about the lighthouse. They are my glass paintings though except for the blue and frosted front one that I bought like that.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

They're really lovely, I live in a coastal town so they're very evocative images for me.
Just a quick check in to record debt payments for the month, before the coronavirus madness really took hold we made a few chunky payments and had payouts from Shoppix, Receipt Hog, Prolific and Ebay so a decent month. As with many others we are now sticking to minimum payments with the CC but will continue for now with the £250 monthly payment to Mum. Debt total today is £8190 so we'll be in the £7k's on the 1st of April. Signature updated.
Keep safe everyone xx
