Friend's op went well, they're in recovery but has been able to send a few texts which is a relief, continuing to keep everything crossed for a good prognosis.

Work was busy and went in quickly, so not a bad first shift back.

DH took the boys to another free event local to us and they managed to get a free soft play and climbing wall session so that was a win and filled a good bit of time in for them all.

Have tried to cash out on Jam D0ughnut again so hopefully that's £11 on it's way after the last attempt to cash out failed to go through.

Got another £11 from Pro!ific so that's been added to today's PAD.

    Today's PAD £13

A short quiet shift at work today, due to finish in an hour but all tasks complete so I'm on here unless a customer enquiry comes in.

Not looking forward to going home as DH is in a grump about his pending procedure tomorrow (colonoscopy) and is like a bear with a sore head. He's nil by mouth for 24 hours too which won't help. I'll be suggesting he has a long soak in the bath and to go to our bedroom to watch a film or 2 if he's as impossible as he was yesterday! Hopefully he hasn't been too grumpy with the boys.

Other than not, not a lot will be happening today. It's pouring down so don't want to be out in that. I'll probably do a few chores before relaxing, the bathroom could do with a decent clean (as long as DH isn't in there), may look at getting a few more bits on V!nted too.

Thanks both, thankfully he hasn't been too gloomy, was worse. Heading out in an hour for the procedure so not too long to go now.

Quick check in to say I've received the £11 from Jam D0ughnut so that's been added to today's PAD.

It did indeed go well @beanielou. Confirmation has been given that there's nothing sinister lurking, the big C has been ruled out so that's a big worry dealt with, feeling very thankful and relieved. Just need to determine what is causing the issue now.

Hoping for the same result for my bestie tomorrow 🤞

Young family friend who had major surgery last week was able to get out of bed independently today so they're making positive progress too, although still waiting to have prognosis confirmed.

Since getting home DH has enjoyed some homemade soup and bread, very much welcomed after the last 24 hours. I've just sent him upstairs to have a bath while me and the kids relax downstairs.

In MSE news, I've just sold a little bundle of clothes on V!nted so will get that packed up and dropped off in the morning.

    Thanks ohdear x

Been out all day with sister and law and nieces. We packed a picnic, fruit and extra snacks and drinks and made the most of the lovely weather.

Once DH finished work, me him and the boys went out again, taking the boys scooters this time. So lots of fresh air, sunshine and fun. Kids went to sleep easily and me & DH won't be too far behind them.

Also got the parcel dropped off.
