Feeling really motivated to get this debt down, it's been quite a while since we've been below £4,000.
We got home early afternoon yesterday and as the weather was decent we cracked on with unpacking and washing. Got lots line dried and sorted ready to put away today but the last load needs tumble dried as we have heavy rain at the moment.
We've all had a much needed lie in so feeling the benefit of that. Plans for today include putting together a shopping list once I've checked what's in. Hopefully get to the supermarket this afternoon. Need to pop in on Mum as she's got a tummy bug so feeling understandably sorry for herself, will grab a bunch of flowers for her seeing as I haven't sen her for a week. Also need to put suitcases back on the loft.
The boys have declared a PJ day so they're not planning on leaving the house 😂 DH is tired so is having a pottering about day.
Had a great result yesterday as I left Pro!ific open in between sorting the laundry and managed to bag a few AI surveys as well as a few little regular surveys and cashed out an amazing £31 to add to today's PAD! I've also hit the payout threshold for Jam D0ughnut so have £10 coming from there at some point.
Today's PAD £33

Glad you had a lovely time away and what a fab debt total to get home to!
I'm trying to focus back on Pro!ific at the moment too - that was a great amount you cashed out!

Thanks @EssexHebridean ❤️ and good luck with your Pro!ific surveys, hopefully you'll be able to grab a few of the AI ones too as they're decent payers.
I'm hoping to grab a few more this week while we decompress from the holiday 🤞

Another good result on Pro!ific yesterday resulting in £28 being added to today's PAD 🎉
Jam D0ughnut payout failed and now I can't request payment 🙈 hopefully that resolves itself quickly. I did remember to use it again when I popped to A$da with Mum earlier so there's now £11 to cash out when I'm able to.
We've been out for a few hours today at a free family fun day so the boys have enjoyed a few fairground rides. Took drinks with us and avoided the non-free activities so we had a pleasant time at no cost. Also popped into the library on the way home and we all chose a few books each.
Back home now and relaxing for an hour before heading out for the boys swimming lessons. I need to tackle my car insurance renewal as I'm in the 21 day sweet spot for renewal but totally lacking motivation, will aim to sort this evening.

I won't do the AI ones I'm afraid - which does reduce the amount I get, but so be it. I'm seeing too much of the damage that AI is doing to photographers, not to mention the part it plays in making scammers lives easier and better, and I refuse to help it get better at that!
On the car insurance definitely check where your renewal comes in - mine was such a tiny increase (a few pounds literally) I decided that the headspace gained by just letting it renew was worth having!

Ah I totally understand and respect your point of view with the AI surveys @EssexHebridean and definitely food for thought.
The evening ran away with me last night as I got sidetracked with a few little tasks I'd been putting off so I left the car insurance.
The renewal came in this morning and was actually a little cheaper than last year's price 😯 £254 Vs £272 last year.
Had a look and TCB were offering £45 back on new policies taken out through their own insurance search engine, managed to secure the same coverage for £228 so I'm happy with the saving and if the cashback pays out that will be a welcome extra to overpay the debt 🙂
Today has seen me and the boys catch up with my sister in law and nieces. We met after breakfast and went for a walk before stopping off at a playground with a cafe next door so we left the kids to play while we had a cuppa and catch up and then the kids got an ice cream before we came home.
DH has been giving his car a decent clean and a bit of maintenance after our holiday so he was happy to get on without us distracting him.

My final day off of my 2 week break today and it's been a busy one.
Most importantly, young family friend is having their surgery today, op time was delayed but they went in just after lunch so we're all keeping everything crossed for a positive outcome 🤞 Will hopefully get an update later this evening.
Met bestie for a coffee and catch up today, she is like DH and in the midst of hospital appointments, they both have procedures early next week to help determine what's going on so was good to see her and have a good chat. We laugh and cry in the same sentence sometimes so we always find our chats quite cathartic amongst the craziness of life.
Bumped into my nephew who I hadn't seen for a while so ended up having a cuppa and catch up with him too after bestie left to head to work.
Also picked up a few groceries for Mum and dropped them off for her and did a couple of chores as she's been feeling under the weather this week so was nice to do a few bits for her.
The boys have gone out with their aunt, uncle and cousins today to an event where there are multiple inflatable activities so they'll be having a whale of a time running wild. DH and I took advantage of being child free and went out for lunch and also managed to pick up a couple of bits for DS2's birthday which is later this month. Also picked up a few items for me to take packed lunches to work over the weekend so I'm feeling quite organised.
The weather is warm and breezy here so we've managed to get a couple of loads of washing pegged out.
Bagged a few small surveys on Pro!ific last night and this afternoon and have just cashed out £7 to add to today's PAD.
