Thank you everyone, I've got a real bee in my bonnet about the debt at the moment, utterly sick of it hanging around!

I've sent £20 to the T3sco CC today and increased the monthly payment from £30 to £50 from next month as that's the big one that needs to be chipped away at in the background while I target the smaller debts on a daily basis.

Happy to report that DH's new office chair worked a treat for him yesterday, it's a decent chair to be fair and fits in well with the decor of the room too, unfortunately he's office based for the rest of the week so he won't get much chance to us it this week.

Day off today but DS1 was feeling (and looking) unwell first thing, he was nauseous every time he stood up. Now I'm usually a 'have some Ca!pol and we'll see how you get on at school' type of Mum but I was concerned enough to keep him off. I should have trusted my instincts because by 11am it was clear he wasn't ill! As a result, he was given a number of chores to complete and also caught up on his homework 😂

One of his chores was to help me with a tip run with a few items that are no longer fit for purpose or donation so that's a few more items decluttered.

    Today's PAD: £2 to M&S CC, £20 to T3sco CC

    Debt total now £4673 (M&S CC £198)

    Debt Busting Again in 2026!

    Starting Debt 03.05.26 = £5345 Current Total 01.06.26 = £4913

    Clear the M&S Card Starting Balance 03.05.26 £600 Current Total 01.06.26 = £418

Quick check in for daily accountability.

Money wins today have been nabbing a few surveys on Pro!fic for the first time in a while and cashing out £10.20, also took Mum for shopping and added a couple of bits to her trolley that she refused to take money for so £10 of 'free' groceries there, bless her.

As a result, that's added £20 to the daily PAD for the CC.

Also done an online shop for groceries with A$da, £100 and remembered to use Jam Donut so £2 cashback earned there, can't cash out until it reaches £10 but should build up nicely.

    Today's PAD: £22 to M&S CC

    Debt total now £4651 (M&S CC £176)

  • At this rate, your M&S card will be virtually paid off my pay day ☺️

Do you rate prolif!c and jam donut? I’ve seen them mentioned around but haven’t looked into them. There’s also something called spr!ve I keep seeing, looks a bit confusing but seems to do cash back on your spending that goes to mortgage overpayments 🤔
