It really is, Mum had her central heating on this morning as she couldn't get warm 🙁

I'll keep my fingers crossed for both of us that we get a reprieve tomorrow 🤞x

    Utterly bonkers weather @beanielou

Well I've had a lovely bath, the boys managed to keep themselves mostly occupied, had a couple of interruptions 🫣

Then got 16 more items listed on V!nted while the boys had a bit of supper.

They're now tucked up in bed and I'm enjoying a bit of peace and quiet 🤫

The sun has arrived 🙌 (hope it has for you too @beanielou) Definitely more "pleasantly warm" than "heatwave" but very welcome after yesterday's craziness!

Pleasant shift at work today for me, DS1 was out for most of the day at his best friends house, DH & DS2 went to soft play so DS2 could let off steam while DH had a relaxing cuppa and pulled himself round from his late night gigging (which went well).

We also got 2 loads of washing washed and dried and a few more bits listed on V!nted, no further sales yet though 🙁 Have had notification that 2 items have been delivered but the buyers haven't confirmed delivery so still waiting on the pennies...

Another beautiful day, decided to let DH have a lie in while I made us all a cooked breakfast and prepared a packed lunch.

After breakfast we headed to a park about 45 minutes from us. It's set around a pond, which meant we could do a circular walk around the pond under the shade of the surrounding trees, the boys then enjoyed playing on the playground for a while and then we enjoyed the packed lunches & lots and lots of water 🥵

There was a miniature ride on train in operation just as we were leaving so, as there was no-one there that the boys recognised (as apparently it was a bit "cringe" to go on a little train 😂) they enjoyed being carefree kids and had a couple of rides, only £1 a ride so total spend of £4 for a few hours of fun. Also managed to get a few nice photos of the boys with DH to mark a lovely Father's Day which was a bonus as DH hates having his photo taken.

Popped in Lid! On the way back to pick up packed lunch bits for the week ahead and some salad items to top up supplies.

We've spent some time in the garden this evening and have managed to get a bit of weeding done as well as mowing the grass, which was much needed.

Unbelievably we have rain forecast tomorrow 😮 so we've tried to maximise our outside time today.

We had a couple of alcohol free lagers while having our tea in the garden and raised a Father's Day toast to our Dads who we sadly lost before the boys were born 💙

Debt busting - 1 more V!nted sale posted today and £3 withdrawn from a previous sales and added to today's PAD.

    Today's PAD: £5 to M&S CC

    Debt total now £4640 (M&S CC £165)

Grrr blumming time wasters on V!nted!!!

I sold a brand new pair of slippers, accepted £1.50 instead of the sale price of £2.50 just to get rid. The buyer asked me to get sent asap, no please or thank you when I did so (only as it was convenient for me), it was delivered to her on Saturday and today she's decided to raise a dispute as they don't fit her - apparently she's a size 6.5 but can't get her feet in these size 7's! I mean, who am I, a shoe shop with a full range of sizes to exchange??? 😂😂

If she was hoping I'd refund without her returning the slippers she can think again, told her to return them at her own cost on principle.

I mean we all take our chances buying stuff second hand but at that price and that reason for wanting a return surely you'd just relist it? 🤷‍♀️

Anyway rant over, just a little vent 😃
