  • Thanks both. Trying not to think about the interview outcome too much, I keep thinking I should've answered a couple of questions differently. Terms & Conditions not discussed, this company tends to do so if they offer the job so what will be will be....

Thanks for the PA info Sashybo, I must have missed that news x

    Hello

Productive day today, always seem so much more motivated on a Monday (will see if I say that next Monday when I'm at work :p )

The weather has well and truly broken today so taken advantage and got caught up on all the chores I've avoided the last few days.

Got a few more items listed on ebay.

I've also finally managed to squeeze in another NSD today, taking me up to 4/28 :T

No news on the job yet, see what tomorrow brings.

Also swallowed a frog and returned DS2's jumperoo style toy to Asda today. We bought it as a Christmas gift for him (the only thing we bought him) but the electronics stopped working on it a few weeks ago. After thinking there wasn't a lot I could do about it I contacted customer services who advised there is a 12 month warranty on the electronics so if I took it back to a local store I could get a full refund so that's gone back today, just waiting for the refund of £49.99 to show on my account (used gift vouchers I had saved for Christmas) before deciding what to do with it.

Current thinking is I'll end up using the vouchers for grocery spends and give DS2 the equivalent cash for his JISA

While I was there I also returned a couple of tops MIL had bought the boys that weren't really suitable, £6 refunded so will put that to one side and put towards something else for them.

Plans for my last day of freedom tomorrow is to spend the day with my mum and DS2, she's feeling much better now so will take her for her grocery shopping. DS1 is having a full day in nursery so he'll be happy playing with his friends.

Thanks everyone for dropping in, really appreciate your comments.

Lovely morning with Mum & DS2 but felt really achey and generally unwell so came home earlier than planned.

Managed to squeeze in a nap & taken lots of cold/flu remedies, still not feeling great so I’m hoping an early night will sort me out ahead of work tomorrow.

A few spends today but will update everything once I’m feeling more with it.

Hope everyone else has had a lovely Tuesday x

Thanks for the lovely comments :)

Well whatever it was I had seems to have been some sort of 24 hour thing as I'm back to normal now apart from still having a scratchy throat, survived my first 'proper' day back at work too!
Off tomorrow then back in Friday and Saturday so I'm sure it'll soon feel like I've never been away.

Spends update - today has been and will remain a NSD.

Yesterday was another story, sick and tired of having nothing to wear when it's warm (literally alternate 5 items of clothing as I've been ruthless with decluttering and as a result of my body shape changing since having the boys), I headed to our local Primarni to stock up on some summer clothing - £52 spent on a pair of trousers, 3 dresses and 2 pairs of sandals :o. An additional £15.40 spent on the boys - socks and summer shoess (will put the £6 refund from Monday towards these though so only a £9.40 cost to me).

Also picked up some birthday cards (£8.77 spent) and a filter for the baby's bottle prep machine (£11.50), both of these spends will be transferred from the 'annual bills' pot.

A further £7.81 spent on groceries and DH topped up his fuel so a further £56.72 spent here.

Maybe I was ill as a reaction to spending so much money in one day? :rotfl:

Small item sold on ebay, £1.13 profit made and sent to CC1 along with an account tidy of 19p :o

Still no news on the job interview yet, may chase if I don't hear from them tomorrow.
