So I've just tried on the items I bought yesterday and one of the dresses doesn't suit me at all so that will be going back for a refund (£15) which will bring clothing spends total for the month down to a slightly improved £76.401

Hi Dancing
Glad you are feeling better and you got through your first day back at work. Good for you getting yourself some new clothes, I am with you about body shape changing and I found the clothes I wore pre pregnancy just never looked the same even when I lost some of the weight.
My summer wardrobe leaves a lot to be desired whilst I haven't gone mad I was fed up wearing jeans when it was red hot so gradually building it up again especially for the holiday. I also need to focus on my work wardrobe, I have 1 pair of work pants which don't fit well and tops which are past it but it can wait until I get back from holiday.
I continue to be very impressed with your excellent tracking of spending and extra earnings must feel a relief to be in control and knowing where every penny went and seeing the debt go down. You are doing fab xx
Enjoy your day tomorrow xx

Hi dancing,
Can totally relate to the clothes situation. Nothing seems to suit me much anymore. I'm having particular issues getting nice fitting bras. I've also got the added issue of being quite tall so limited to where I can buy stuff. However, happy that primarni do long length jeans.
My kids are dressed way better than me!

Thanks Ladies, good to know I'm not the only one. 2nd pregnancy has definitely had a bigger impact on my body than the 1st
truth be told I need a whole new wardrobe but need to fit it in gradually in to the budget, thankfully the current job is uniform based but if I secure the new job (still not heard anything) then I'll need to buy some new work clothes too
Had quite a chilled day today, just generally getting things done as well as entertaining the boys around the school run. Hubby's car had it's MOT today and thankfully passed without any issues. Also got organised and did an online grocery shop to be delivered after work tomorrow. 3 more small ebay sales today so will parcel them up tonight ready for posting on my way to work. Everyone's bags are packed ready for the morning so that should help the morning rush go a bit more smoothly.
Will update today's spends and earnings tomorrow once everything's updated.
Hope everyone else is well, enjoy ewhat's left of Thursday evening x1 -
Glad the car passed the MOT without any issues, and well done for having everything so organised for this morning!1

Great news that car passed MOT, that generally can be panic time for car owners. Happy to read that the rest seemed to work.1

Thanks both, can't remember the last time we had a job free MOT so very pleased. Plus our mechanic is yet again too laid back for his own good so not likely to see a bill for a week or 2. I have £150 budgeted in the annual bills pot so once it's paid the leftovers can move across to the general car/house maintenance line on the budget spreadsheet.
Another day at work survivedit's nice to be back but I'll feel more settled when I'm in a regular routine as my work days are a bit irregular at the moment to plug a gap in the rota but this should all settle down next month
Still not heard the interview outcome but I'm not giving up hope yet! Still haven't received my refund from Asda on Monday either so these are both on my follow up list for next week.
I've swallowed another frog and finally completed a complaints form for the Financial Ombudsmen to look in to a rejected PPI claim dating back to 1999. Have been filling it in slowly each evening this week and just popped it in the post. It was definitely mis-sold as I didn't even know it was optional (I was also a much younger, naive, teenage DITR back then), any other PPI claim I've made elsewhere has been upheld yet this one hasn't despite the provider admitting they had made some failings in their rejection! It's been sat in a drawer for 2 months so I'm glad to get this submitted, it's the last thing I can recall having PPI on so worth taking further.
Spendy couple of days again, £2.60 on bus fares taking DS1 to school yesterday as DH had my car and it was pouring down; £4.99 on Amazon for some laundry bags as I'm sick of socks going astray each wash£99.42 spent on groceries  £9.68 spent on gifts. Will update my trackers in the next post.
Positives - the ebay sales I mentioned last night left me with £9.23 to send to CC1. PA cashed out again today £5.41 and an account tidy of £1.62 also sent. Small wins
Hope everyone else is well x2 -

Morning all
Well I've survived my first week back at work, feeling more tired than expected though. think it's a combination of having to really think about what I'm doing rather than it being an automatic action plus the weather has been really hot again the last few days. As much as I love the warm weather, it definitely wipes me out more than it used to.
Was home from work just after 1 yesterday so headed to a local carnival parade, met up with some friends and our little ones all enjoyed the procession and the little fairground rides afterwards. Took some snacks and food with us but needed to buy a few more things as it was so warm. Worked out fairly well though as once we got home it was a case of bath, pj's and bed for the boys. Me & DH weren't too far behind them as we were both shattered.
Total spend was £16.89, this will come from the entertainment pot, not bad for a lovely family afternoon as well as catching up with friends.
This morning I've been sorting out the laundry mountain (again!), put away the things that don't need ironed and have one basket left to iron later while I catch up on some tv.
Also popped a gammon joint in the slow cooker with some stock, lentils, veg and spices so as well as some delicious ham to use over the next few days we'll also have a yummy lentil soup
Planning on spending some time with DH's brother's family this afternoon so hopefully a NSD while our 5 kids spend some time together.
Hope everyone else is having a lovely weekend. All being well my plan tonight is to catch up on a few diaries as I haven't had much time the last few days, look forward to seeing what everyone's been up to
Take care xx2 -
Well that will teach me to plan for a lovely afternoon.....After my last post DS1 came out in a few spotty blisters, they've multiplied as the days gone on so looks like he has chicken pox  DH has been in a rotten mood since he opened his eyes so am staying out of his way until he remembers how to smile
DS2 has been his usual smiley self thankfully, although has been a little lethargic so keeping an eye on him just in case he shows signs of chicken pox too. So DS1 will have to be kept off school this week, such a shame for him as his nursery class have lots of fun end of term activities planned & he absolutely loves seeing his friends every day, poor lamb.
Luckily my family members who look after the children have all had chicken pox so they're all fine to have both boys while I'm at work. Typical that neither of them have been ill at all in the last year I've been off and the minute I'm back at work this happens!
Bags all sorted and ready for the morning, DH is sulking upstairs so I'm having a catch up on here before I head off to bed. Have had a chat with my Mum and one of my besties this evening so at least I haven't been totally without adult conversation today
2 more ebay sales today, these have been packed and posted. £8.41 profit sent to CC1. Ebay total for the month now at £73.87. Also updated my signature so it's fully up to date with all the tiny overpayments made this month.
