£5 received from Receipt Hog
£13.12 profit after fees, p&p from 3 Ebay sales
= £18.12 sent to CC11 -
WOW Super work on the debt overpayment, it is amazing how the little bits add up isn't it and then seeing the figures at the end of the month makes it so worth it. Love the fact you have really thought about the targets and where you want to improve.
BRING ON JULY!1 -
Thanks Dan
It's really has been an eye opener adding all the little bits and pieces up. At the start of the month I thought I'd be doing well to get anywhere near £50 in extra payments so I'm over the moon with the final amounts.
So after my last post here I listed a few old baby things on Facebook and sold one this morning for £8, no interest on the other 2 things yet.
Hubby has finally dismantled a large computer workstation that was taking up lots of space, it's seen better days but rather than taking it to the tip he listed it on Facebook as free to anyone who could collect and that' gone today - the room it was in looks so much bigger :T
Just been looking at TCB and there's a few payments relating to recent car and home insurance renewals a few weeks ago finally showing as confirmed and one of £30.00 showing as payable. I have requested this but won't reach my account for a few days as it was only payable by BACS instead of Paypal.
We've had a nice quiet day at home today. Much needed as I think the recent hot weather has exhausted us all. Managed to get the grass cut and a quick tidy up of the garden this morning before the rain set in,it's so dark here at the moment & the threat of thunder is in the air so a pj's and film night is on the cards for us tonight.
Hope everyone's having a good weekend x1 -
Well that's another weekend that's gone far too quickly, really enjoyed our chilled out evening last night, managed to get the boys out in the garden this morning for some fresh air then went to a birthday party for our friend's little girl this afternoon. Both boys were worn out and asleep by 6.30 :T I think me and DH will be asleep soon too, I'm not sleeping well as DS1 has a nasty cough at the moment and is even coughing in his sleep, thankfully it isn't waking him up but I can't say the same as I'm waking up every time he coughs. He's gone to bed covered in menthol rub so hopefully that will help him.
After an enforced NSD Friday and Saturday I had to go to the supermarket today too as we needed nappies and formula for DS2 so got these, along with a few cupboard supplies for the month. Total spend £43.20.
I haven't done any current account tidying as the payment hasn't cleared and then the majority of my bills go out tomorrow so just waiting on everything reconciling.
Another insurance related cash back showing as payable today so that's another £27.30 that should be in my account this week.
Also sold another old baby item on Marketplace today, even better I advertised it for £8 and the buyer gave me £10so this has gone across to CC1. I'm throwing everything at CC1 as if I can get this cleared by the end of the year then I'll definitely achieve my £9,999 goal so it's keeping me focused.
Total NSD's July 2/28 (Covers 28 June through to next payday 26 July)
Total Grocery Spends £43.20 (Daily Average £1.54 (June Daily Average £13.36))
Total Fuel Spends £0
Update on surveys:
Yougov - 1405/5000
OnePoll - £6.60/£25.00
Prolific - £0.95/£5.00 confirmed, £0 pending
vypr - 2760/10000
Receipt Hog - 41/1500
Shoppix - 1690/32001 -
Morning all
Another school run done, so just a quick check in while I have a cuppa
First of all I forgot to say thanks to Sashybo yesterdayfor telling me about vypr, this looks like it could be a useful little money spinner as I'm already a quarter of the way to the cash out total so thank you
Today sees the SO's of £60 go out to CC1 & £50 to the family loan. Once the regular payment goes out to CC2 next week and the pending TCB payouts go to CC1 the debt total will be in the £12,000's, can't wait to hit that milestone :T:T
Another 5pwas sent to CC1 from monthly interest earned on the 'debt' account & a further £3.97 TT sent from the bills account so not a bad start to the week.
Should be a NSD today as I'm planning on getting on top of some jobs around the house with working 2 days this week.
Have a lovely day all x1 -
No thanks necessary, Dancing, I found out about vypr from someone else on here, it's what makes this such a nice little corner of the forums.
I've come across another receipt app called huyu so have just downloaded it to see if it will be any good. I think you get vouchers rather than cash & can only scan supermarket receipts but might be worth a shot.
Hope you get your jobs done round the house, I need to get going today, so far only one washing on & the dishwasher emptied.Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £11,174, Car loan 2 £5,532, CC 0% BT £780. Debt Free Diary to try & keep spending in check.0 -
Ooh haven’t heard of huyu, will have a look at that too.
Washing machine is on its 3rd load of the day! DS1 wet the bed last night so had all his bedding on top of the usual lights & dark washes.
Luckily, although it’s very overcast, it’s dry & warm here so the washing is actually getting dried, might have to sneak the tumble dryer on to finish a few bits later though.
Also managed to give the kitchen a decent clean then quickly polish & hoover downstairs while DS2 napped.
Sold 3 more eBay items today so I’ll pack those up & post on my way to pick DS1 up from school as he’s doing a full day today. I think I should clear around £30 from these, not bad for what I thought was a load of old junk1 -
Well I had fun at the post office with 2 tired boys on the way back from the school run - tears, tantrums and one stressed DITR, I bet the staff were glad to see the back of us!
Both of them are now having a little lie down for a much needed nap, a bit later than I would like, but needs must. They're both shattered with DS1 having his cough and DS2 teething they're having really disturbed sleep at the moment
The post office trip was worth it though, have just paid ebay fees for today's sales and have sent the £30.92 profit to CC1.1 -
Hello (again
)
DH had to top up on fuel on his way home today £56.06 spent & also needed to buy a service kit for our petrol lawn mower as it needs a bit of attention £15.99 spend on this (will take from 'home maintenance' pot covered in the monthly £200 annual pots savings). So not a NSD but can't be helped.
While I'm here I want to list where extra earnings have come from this month as I had to scoll through all of my posts to do the month 1 summary which took a bit of time, so I will just copy and paste the following and update as needed.
Will stick to documenting survey updates on Sundays as it helps keep me motivated when I get fed up of doing the surveys

Good evening, is it bedtime yet?
Today has just been one of those days that feels never ending, so tired at the moment. Can't wait for the boys to get over their coughs and teething and we can have more settled nights again.
Met up with my SIL today for a rare catch up without all our kids, my turn to pay so £7.75 from my personal spends spent on coffee and cake each, well worth it as we always enjoy our catch ups.
We were near a supermarket so had a look round (rookie error) and spent £12.49 topping up milk, bread and a couple of yellow sticker bits for the freezer.
In debt busting activity - 2 more small Ebay sales last night so posted those today, earned £5.25 after fees.
Yesterday's spends now cleared in the bills account, mortgage interest had been applied so I've sent £10.79 over to the mortgage account to round that account down. 50p payable in TCB claimed (still waiting for the bigger payments to show in my bank account). £1.68 account tidy.
Just spent this evening getting bags, lunches, etc organised for tomorrow in readiness for my KIT day. Feeling a little nervous but I'm sure I'll be fine. Co-incidentally my old colleague rang me today and said I should hear about an interview for the job he told me about within the next 10 days so we'll see what happens there so one way or another everything's changing in the DITR household
