House on market since Feb no sale

Hi

Looking for a bit of advice please.

Our house has been on market since Feb had around 8 viewings but no sale or cheeky offers. We reduced mid April £5000 to £269,500 as we are keen to sell.

Its a 4 bed 1970s (late ) detached, various comnents have included too small , garden not suitable, not liking 70s design. We have moved furniture around and seriously de cluttered any advice.

Over priced or slow market, every house will sell for a price, what has the feedback been?

    Comparable properties nearby?

Reducing by 5k wasn't really worth it as a decent offer would have come in possibly below that figure anyway

If you are going to reduce then make it a suitable reduction.

Very difficult without links to it

We were more guided by EA price reduction but agree in hindsight shouldve reduced more.

    Just waiting to post link....

If it's on Rightmove, instead of trying to post:

    https://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-79713407.html (for example)

Just post the number at the end:

    79713407 (in this example)

Just post the link with a few spaces or some dots removed and replaced by (dot). Example:

    www(dot)moneysavingexpert. com
