    Hey Guys,

    Circling back on this.
The registered keeper received the below letter - in this instance what do they do? They are worried court proceedings will take place etc:

    That's another one to ignore.

All it does is tell you what might happen.

    Thanks KeithP.
What if they do start court proceedings, then what happens?

The keeper reads post #2 of the NEWBIES thread and follows the guidance offered there.

I cannot recall the last time I saw a MET court case.

Has the keeper complained to the 'restaurant? I use that word loosely.

I will direct the registered keeper to post #2

And they have, but the restaurant are unwilling to help. Go figure.

    Dear Restaurant
My family* were happy to partake of a meal in your establishment, shame that is going to be the last one! Neither I, my family or any of my friends can afford to eat there if every meal comes with a **£100 surcharge.

*Insert who actually used the restaurant.
    **Insert actual total of PCN

Just to get this straight, did an occupant of the vehicle use the Mc Donalds?

That's a really important question which I don't think has been answered as yet.

If anyone in that car spent money in McDonalds then email their CEO. Never mind the lack of receipts, never mind if the CEO is in the U.S. (as I think they may be), others have had success with landowner complaints to McDonalds' by doing just that. It's quick, it's easy, it very often works.

Even if no one went into the Mc Donalds, this parking charge nonsense can still be easily dealt with.
If someone on the vehicle did use the Mc Donald, then it puts whoever got the issuing charge in an extremely strong position

    Hi All
    thank you for your responses.
THe registered keeper will try the McDonalds contact route.
Having said that, would it help if the RK sends a letter/email of some sort stating that because 56 days has passed and no NtK issued, MET forfeited the ability to claim from the keeper?

    TIA
