Did somebody say cheap trill?Retired 1st July 2021.
This is not investment advice.
Your money may go "down and up and down and up and down and up and down ... down and up and down and up and down and up and down ... I got all tricked up and came up to this thing, lookin' so fire hot, a twenty out of ten..."0 -
OK, one last hurrah for your emusement.
I have a cuck oo's name is Mavis. She used to be a mynah. To be honest she smells fowl and people call her that humming bird.
I think she's stealing the cutlery because my spoonbill is great (t)its costing a lot.
Still her picnics are good - her fieldfare is admired by all.
Anyway, I may be a thickhead but she's just said teal be ready soon & we have guests coming round who will have to buzzard on the doorbell.
I think we're having chicken dippers and we plan to play pintail on the donkey afterwards, but I have to get the moa out first and I also need a shave or they'll say I'm a bearded tit.0 -
Wow - my pc's Flaming os just crashed under the weight of all those puns !0

STARLING BANK - WORST BANK EVER
....I provided all documents requested of me on two seperate occasions and to date, the Useless bank have not credited my account.
Two weeks ago, when there was No response from Starling Bank, I requested that they send the funds back to the sender, as I was not able to meet the contractual obligations relating to the contract between my company and the sender’s company. The sender has also asked his bank to recall the funds......
You're correct. Starling = atrocious. They used to be good. Gone downhill badly now.
Their systems are not robust. I closed my account back in April 2018 (switched to another account - I'm a bank tart). They told me I can open account with them again in 12 months. Fast forward 13 months I try to open account. No Go.
Phoned them up and it turned out the system still hadn't updated. Call handler had to consult supervisor and release the lock.
I've read reports that they are not 100% at protecting customer data. Didn't put much weight to the report (as they were on trustpilot). But when I was going through the application process happen to notice that they seem to overemphasize how well they 'protect' our data.
Posters here seem to have got hung-up on the amount of transfer, but other customers have experienced frozen funds for sums like £800 - 1200.
Go figure!0 -
Serial complainers can even find fault with Starling, a little bird told me ^^Evolution, not revolution0

They can't be that [STRIKE]bird[/STRIKE] bad, otherwise you wouldn't have gone back to them.0 -
