    PAD today is 50p.

I'm heading home right now, going to have some lunch then get stuck back into studying again. I've not touched it since before I was in hospital but I think I'm now in the right frame of mind. LMG is working until 8pm and boyfriend has his kids today so should be no disturbances as long as I can force myself to stay off the internet. I can, I'm sure.

    50p PAD again today.

I did 90 minutes of study yesterday and that was one chapter. I'm happy enough with that. Planning same again today.

Soooooo disappointed with lunch today. Boyfriend's friend made soup ages ago and I got some for my freezer. It was the one I thought was 4 portions, but it turned out to only be 2 portions; it was in a glass jar and stuck to the sides so looked more than it was. Boyfriend has raved about how good it is for years. Anyway, I defrosted it last night ready for lunch today and tomorrow but it turns out I don't like it  I mean I really don't like it. I don't think of myself as a fussy eater and I absolutely adore soup but it tastes weird, almost a medical/TCP flavour. I just can't stomach it, I tried. Luckily I took a nice roll out of the freezer to have with it so I've had that with butter. The fridge is bare and the freezer is nearly empty. I need to do a shop, I can't leave it much longer.

Still got £75 in grocery cash budget (and £2 something on Asda card). Payday is a week on Thursday.

First cc of the month paid off today. The other two are due around 24/25 of the month so will be clear by the end of the week.

The holding account has £24.39 in it now. It's sat at £20 for nearly two months and now I've started PADding it's slowly creeping up. I'm hoping it will be at £30 by the end of the month and I'll just pay that straight over to the loan account.

    Another 50p PAD.

Bit of a rough day today. Health-wise I'm doing ok (and I'm thankful for that) but nothing else is going right for me today. Really annoyed about some work stuff. General grumpy old woman stuff. To top it off I got on the wrong bus home (don't ask) so I'm home about an hour later than normal.

£33 spent in Morries but I didn't properly meal plan so it won't last :o Got a bag of small onions for 26p though so that put a smile on my face.

Home made pasta bake for tea. I made too much sauce the last time so froze it. Got cream today so all sorted.

When I was digging out the sauce I found the mushroom & spinach bolognese from last weekend. I had forgotten about that. I ended up splitting it into two when I froze it. It's two small portions but I'll give us it with garlic bread and LMG will be happy with that. That's another meal for this week.

I got two YS loaves of bread. Not my usual kind but beggars can't be choosers and all that. I also got (forced on me by boyfriend who is Mr YS himself) a cherry pie "You have to get it, it's only 38p!" It's not that I don't like cherry pie, it's just that I only usually put stuff in my basket that I need rather than want or if it's a want it's a biggy like a big bar of chocolate. He's great for the YS bargains but I prefer shopping alone...

£42 left in cash grocery budget and one full week until payday (31st). No household groceries required. No toiletries required.

£25 left in slush fund (because I've been PADding from it) with one evening out tomorrow and one weekend night in with boyfriend (possible spend here but I might squeeze it from the grocery budget as it will be food/drink).

That does help, thank you :)

Usual 50p PAD today. I'm waiting for a payout from PA and was hoping to PAD that today but it's not confirmed yet. Hopefully tomorrow.

I'm having leftover pizza from Tuesday for lunch today. Out to meet up with the besties for a wee while tonight. We've got nibbles with our vouchers so that will do tea as long as it's not a packet of prawn crackers to share like the last time :rotfl: Should be fine, hopefully.

Going to catch up with other diaries then do some study before getting organised to head out.

You sounds so disciplined on the food front. It is my biggest failing. Like you I did get some YS stuff this week - I fell for things I wouldn't normally buy though like 2 eclairs for 28p, some gu puddings for about 68p for 2, I got a really nice meatball and mash meal for about 70p and and a pasta bake for about 54p all from the C00p the other day I was chuffed.

It helps that I don't have a sweet tooth. I do like chocolate and the odd dessert but I'd rather have a packet of crisps or some cheese. He found two individual lemon meringue pies for 7p each and was trying to force them on me too but I put my foot down. I know that is a bargain but they were unnecessary. It stems from the days of having very little money for food and having to be disciplined. I'm one of these weirdos who has to go to the shops hungry or I don't buy anything :o Good bargains had by you! :D

Mixed it up a bit and PADded 89p today. Wooo!

£4 left in the slush fund after a £21 spend last night :o I owed a drink so paid for that and we all had an extra one so paid for mine. That's why I don't drink much haha.

I'm babysitting my niece this afternoon so bought some negotiating-tool chocolate buttons for later :)

Boyfriend is organising the tea for tomorrow and I'm just taking what I have in the house already so shouldn't be any extra spends. I'm not on the family coffees so may end up being a NSD tomorrow if I'm lucky.

£38 left in cash grocery budget, 5 days to go until payday with 2 nights to organise meals for. Totally doable.

CC 3 produced its statement late this afternoon so I've sent that payment across.

Managed to PAD a further £3.72 today from what was left in the cc account which took the holding account up to £30 so I've paid that across to the loan :j

Decided to pay the road tax today so that's that done and dusted for another year.

Oh and £39 left in cash grocery budget because I counted £4 off instead of £3.

50p PAD each of Saturday, yesterday and today.

NSD on Saturday. SSD on Sunday (£2.60). I made a veggie chilli yesterday and it was quite nice. Had most of the ingredients in the house already, just had to pick up a couple of bits.

My cousin had a baby boy a couple of weeks ago so I went to buy a gift today. I had Debs vouchers so paid £15 for £23's worth of stuff. I've taken it out of the grocery budget as there is £4 left in the slush fund and I need to keep PADding.

£14 left in cash grocery budget. Payday is Thursday (keep thinking it's Wednesday, it's not :().

50p PAD today however, I've screwed up and I now need the PADs to go towards the credit card for a wee while. I bought tickets for a food festival in November and I clicked on the wrong date so I now have three tickets that I can't use :( I might try to sell them for a bit less than I paid nearer the time but right now I'm still beating myself up so I'm too busy to think about it.

I had to go to the supermarket today and I've gone over the budget but that's because I used part of it yesterday for the baby gift. I do have a presents budget so I'll just put less in that on payday. There is money in the presents account but that means uplifting it now to put it back on Thursday so I'll just wait. Which I suppose actually means I haven't really gone over the budget and instead I've broken even this month (as long as I stay away from the shops tomorrow - at sister's for tea and I've already bought the stuff I'm taking. Already bought tea for Thursday night too which I didn't need to so no excuse really).

I'm having a right spate of unfortunate luck at the moment and it's making me feel quite low. I really need to pull myself together.

Need to put a smile on :)
