Boyfriend insisted on paying for the coffees last night which was nice. I ended up spending just under £7 on 2 pizzas and a bottle of juice for LMG and me for our tea. From grocery budget. LMG picked them up for us. The good thing is it was quite late and I can't eat a lot late so only had half my pizza. Going home now for the other half for lunch (really busy at work so got out late).
Hopefully a NSD today but won't know for sure until later.

Ooh thanks for the chocolateI was a bit less grumpy yesterday afternoon and today seems ok so far
Early start for me this morning. Dropped Little Miss and her boyfriend at the airport at 4.45am. Went for petrol. Went home and cleaned (most of) the bathroom. Put away a dish load from yesterday. Put a wash in. I'm exhausted! I've not even made a dent in the dirtNeed to go and pick my boyfriend up shortly and drop him at the bus station as he is away out to the footie with his brother today in a different city. After that I'm going to get my mum for coffee, possibly lunch. Home later this afternoon and will need to dry the bed covers that are in the washing machine right now. Have tea all by myself. Pick boyfriend up from the bus station again about 8.30pm, drop him off then get home and probably go to (nice clean) bed. I need to be careful I don't use up all my spoons before the end of the day. No plans for tomorrow though and with the weekend's washing done already I can relax for the day.
Already spent today (petrol £10.01. Seriously, what is with the 1p? I used to be great at getting it exact. I'm sure they've now set all the pumps so that you can't do that anymore unless it's an accident ) and will likely spend again later with mum. I've already taken tea out of the freezer (one of Jack Monroe's daals) and I'll take a roll out to defrost later.Mortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000

Watch those spoons
By the time I got home at the back of 4pm I had used them allI managed to have a half hour nap which made me feel worse but I forced myself to pick boyfriend up. I slept from 9.30pm to 7.45am this morning. I only woke up twice tossing and turning.
Had a massive lunch yesterday with Mum so couldn't fit tea in last night. I had the daal for lunch today instead. I've spent the whole day so far on the couch. I was feeling a bit guilty but then I remembered the masses of stuff I've done over the past two days and the lack of sleep on Friday night and decided to give myself a break.
NSD today. Toast for breakfast, daal for lunch, off to Mum and Dad's for tea.
Tomorrow I should get a free lunch at work. I'll have to go to the shops after work though as toothpaste, conditioner and shower gel are running low and also I'm thinking of making Thai green chicken curry for tea and I don't have a couple of the ingredients.Mortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000

You definitely deserve the break! Thai green curry sounds fab and (great minds obviously) as I've actually got a daal in the slow cooker just now for next week's lunches, it's definitely the right time of year for these sorts of things0

It was the makhani daal from Jack's Cooking on a Bootstrap book. It's really good and I usually have it with a buttered roll so that I can pile it on. I still have one portion left in the freezer :j Little Miss is not that fussed for it so it's all mine
On looking for the daal name I've just spotted Jack's mushroom and spinach bolognese. Not had that in a while either. It was a bit of a faff to make but it was very tasty. Excellent for vegetarians. I need to do it again soon.
I've not made the Thai curry in a long time. I was trying to come up with something different but simple and it popped into my head. Chicken, onion, Thai green curry paste and coconut milk. I serve with rice. It's delish!
Spent just short of £28 today. All stocked up with bathroom bits plus stuff for tea tonight and tomorrow. The lunch supplier didn't turn up at work today so there were many disappointed faces in my office. I got finished late, 2pm, and I had to get the bits and bobs so I bought a meal deal from Boots. It was an emergency as I'd had nothing since breakfast at 7.20am (too busy) and I had very little energy. I didn't get home until 25 minutes ago and I was struggling then, even though I had eaten by that point. I'm just sitting quietly catching up on here before boyfriend arrives starving haha.
Getting my hair done tomorrow (budgeted for) and I cannot wait. It desperately needs done. I leave it as long as possible between appointments so I'm definitely ready. Next appointment will be just before Christmas for a freshen up ready for the festivities.Mortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000

It's funny how 11 years ago when I was at Bankruptcy's door (luckily I didn't have to knock) a particular fuel provider was demanding money from me that they actually owed me and yet fast forward those 11 years to today and my current fuel provider (different one) is throwing money at me. They emailed me earlier today, two separate emails, telling me they were crediting me £30. When I checked my account they had sent me £90! It didn't sit right with me so I called them. They apologised and said they've credited £30 too much and will take that back. They are leaving the £60 though. Because of my various health issues I struggle with being cold and winter is the worst for me. Last winter I put the heating off in December after having it on for a couple of months and we just muddled through with blankets. This extra £60 is a godsend. I am so grateful.
There is an onion smell in the flat. I don't know where it is coming from. It's been here since Monday when I made the Thai curry. Normally I'd blame LMG and her messy room but she's not here and actually, her room doesn't smell bad (I just checked). I put the bin out this morning on my way to work, the dishes are all done, there are no onions in the kitchen at all and there's nothing lying around (apart from clean laundry which I really need to put away). When the guy in the flat downstairs cooks we can smell it in here but I don't think he's been in the past few days (he isn't there all the time). I just don't understand where this smell is coming from.
Budgets are looking like this:
£91 in grocery cash, £2.97 on Asda card
£55 in slush fund
£366 in yearly payments account with £145 due out at the end of the month for road tax
Got an evening out planned on 24th with the Besties but we've bought vouchers which we've already paid for so shouldn't cost any more than that. If it does it won't be much.
LMG's birthday on Sunday. I gave her money for her holiday so I'll just pick up a wee thing for her to open on the day. Got a card already.
Boyfriend and I are going to my Mum & Dad's tonight but we are taking tea (already prepped by him) and making it for them. They do loads for us so boyfriend came up with the idea this morning. His folks are long gone and he appreciates what mine do (as do I, of course).
Tomorrow I'll be all by myself as boyfriend has his kids this weekend (from tomorrow) and LMG isn't back until Friday. I might have the last daal out of the freezer (the freezer is looking quite low now) or I might cave and go to the shops.Mortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000
