Hi
I just joined in too but all of a sudden decided to rearrange the dining room which in turn meant that I had to move the living room about. I didn't put the iroing away before I started so now I am in a complete and utter mess.
Is it supposed to be like this??
However, did declutter the hallway and kitchen so am feeling good about that.
I'm one of those people that startes off a job but never finishes it - doesn't sem to be any others like me on this board???!!
I need a cup of tea before starting again.

Hi everyone,:hello:
DD off school, up this morning at half 2 being sick (my poor baby), and then cried this morning when she was told she couldn't go to school (weird child).
Anyway so far today i have
1) Got the car taxed
2) Got DD another christmas pressie.
3) Lifted their tv as it is now fixed.
Not much really but at least no more running about today and the kids are so quite watching their tv.
Right i'm gonna have a cuppa and start the kitchen, i'm also gonna take pics of the kitchen before i start (so i shame myself into tiding)and after i'm finished..
It really is truely awful.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
lililou you are certainly not the only one which is why I started using this thread when moggins ran it, bits here & there never seemed to get me anywhere. Making a point now of sticking with one room seems to help. Sounds like you have made prgress with the declutter however. Yet to finish my kitchen as just got back and TRYING to get through to Kenwood customer service before I have to get DS2 from school. See if they'll do anything about my food processor, can't find the receipt..
Vanilla photos are a good idea, that way you can see the difference you make. Are you planning on sharing the shameful ones and the great onesOne day I might be more organised...........

Afternoon all
Newbies - you are doing really well - don't over do it - there is a whole week of activity ahead!
I think most of us have realised the key is the more declutting you can do the easier the cleaning/tiding is.
Sticking with the family room - we have now sorted videos - few to go, sorted toys again few to ebay, few to go and played a couple of games.
DS3 now watching a long forgotten video whilst I clean my desk (mine in family room - OH has office)
DS2 has text to say they are at the ferry.
DS1 has cricket district trials tonight. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Afternoon all - welcome all newbies - it's not that scary once you get used to it.
Hugs to everyone who's ill and will icky sickie munchkins.
Not long got up - the pleasures of night shifts.
Sis just rang me to say that she'd been broken into while she was at work - the little un (3 1/2) was the one that noticed when my dad picked her up from nursery - "Grandad, why is my piggy's bottom on the chair - Grandad, where's my piggy!").
Little toerags had gone into the shed, found a hammer and smashed through the back door - glass everywhere and upstairs is a disaster zone. Don't think they've taken much but the state that my sister's upstairs usually is, who's to know. Luckily a lot of munchkins Xmas pressies are at my moms.
It's just the thought of people rifling through your stuff. I hope their hands fall off.I'd rather be watching CSI!0
