Vanilla photos are a good idea, that way you can see the difference you make. Are you planning on sharing the shameful ones and the great ones
Yep gonna share, think i must be mad:rotfl: that is if i find the flamin disk for the camera.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
hello all
back from dress fitting, with dress! decided it was still too soon to get it fitted as i'm still losing weight and so am getting it done privately (at a lady i've had recommended by the shop). all a bit confusing as i bought my dress in the bridal shop's closing down sale and although they are still honouring bookings they are obviously keen to get them out of the way, as the shop is now men's hire only. on the plus side i think we are going to go there for our men's suits. slightly more than the other place but they are nicer suits and i prefer the waistcoats they do. and i emailed the guy from the other place last week and haven't had a reply!
right, gonna have some ready brek (not really had anything much to eat today!) and then do the kitchen before going to weightwatchers in an hour and a half.Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
Hi everybody! I'm jumping in and posting today! OH 'did' the kitchen last night - (about level one - so that's not too bad) It looks a lot better than usual and although I'm tempted to stay in there and do some more I've decided to move through to the living room.
There is a massive pile of clothes waiting to be ironed.
First of all - I'm going to put away everything that shouldn't be in there. Then hoover. Then possibly start the ironing!!
It's one of those days where i haven't got a clue where to start but I suppose I'd better start somewhere!!0 -
amanda, if you're not working tomorrow, it's likely to be the living room on the list then anyway so don't worry if you prefer to stick to the kitchen today! most of us do one room a day.Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0

Great minds think alike Rach - how much do you still want to lose before W day?I'd rather be watching CSI!0

i'm not sure - dress still pulling a bit but i think its possibly an exercise (toning up) thing realy rather than losing weight. maybe another half stone depending on what i've lost tonight (there speaks the optimist!)Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0

Good luck with it rach, I'm sure you'll do well
I'm trying to get my head round diet and exercise bit at moment but without any luck - I've got to get my head used to the idea before my mouth and backside will follow.I'd rather be watching CSI!0 -
lililou,
I started the flylady stuff about 18 months ago, firstly via the flylady website, and then getting support and inspiration here. It took me three months of hour long bursts to de-clutter and clean a 3 bed terrace prior to selling it. This included painting it, etc along the way - and a lot of hinderance from my LO's (hence the hour at a time bit), and a part time job. It was a complete mess to start with, but by the time I was done I could accept viewings at ten minutes notice.
It does get better. See how much more you get done next time you spend 15 minutes on the same areas. It is a lot less tedious to keep doing 15 minutes on each room than to get stuck in one for hours.
Pigpen (I think) used to post before and after pictures which always made me feel better! May be worth taking a picture at the start and finish and seeing just how much you have done.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
