As Nos says, it will be months before this gets in front of a judge, (that is if they have not gone bust first),   have you read read this?

Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP, it can cause the scammer extra costs and work, and has been known to get the charge cancelled.

Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.

Hopefully, when life gets back to normal, it will become impossible for those scammers who are left to continue their vile trade, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies.

I very much doubt that it will go ahead,  Write to the asking for a postponement sine die as are self isolating/home schooling/learn to knit.

They said they are looking at doing remote hearing by video, if I was to postpone it, I would need to pay £25

Is attending a small claims hearing on Boris's list of things you are permitted to do?  Not in my paper it wasn't.  For the next three weeks you can only go out for: -
    Shopping for necessities
    Once a day for exercise
    Medical need
Travelling to or from work (if you cannot work from home.
Following those rules, what is anybody doing working at the court?

This is exactly what I thought - I am not leaving my house - but I also dont want to miss the deadline - especially when VCS havent submitted their WS.
What do you suggest I do?

Take your daily exercise on a walk that takes you passed the court and pop it in their letter box!

We suggest you comply with the WS and evidence deadline as best you can (get it in this week certainly) but we'd expect the hearing to be later.  Do your bit correctly as far as the paperwork is concerned, including your SUMMARY COSTS ASSESSMENT.

Bargepole reported this in an email group I am in, at the start of this week:
The listings for tomorrow (Tuesday 24/03) show just 10 parking cases still standing, half the number for today.
I spoke to a County Court today about a case for next week and they said it’s very likely to be adjourned indefinitely, or possibly continue as a telephone only hearing if they can find a Judge – many of those are staying at home.
The Courts do not regard parking cases as a priority, and are mainly focusing on family law and PCOL proceedings.

Read this short thread as well, from another regular who deals with court cases v PPCs:

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6118413/courts-adjourning-cases-due-to-corona-virus#latest

You can you repeat the WS here in a reply, you are far more likely to get people looking.  It's not on this page and I, for one, am more easily distracted away from the forum right now and unlikely to start clicking back to look for previous posts.  Even my pm list is too long to read back now.
