Lift not working at Torbay Hotel

It is not my intention to tick helpful on every post it has just been done automatically and I do not seem able to stop it.I trying to correct it but so far have been unable to do so. Going back to the original subject looking at the reviews on TripAdvisor it seems the lift are still not working for about a week and that is the real bone of contention. If as you would expect it had been repaired within 24 hours then I think the OP and others would have accepted the situation. it would appear it is a new lift (January 2019) and I would have thought Shearing's Head office would have pulled out all the stops with the lift company. the hotel itself is just a small cog in the wheel!!!
