    Thanks SSG.

We got back from holidays yesterday morning and we were shattered - our flight left Spain at 6.30 in the morning so we were up at ridiculous o'clock for the transfer. It was a fantastic holiday with lots of memories made and the kids had a ball. Thank goodness we went all inclusive because it would have worked out very expensive if we had to pay at the hotel.

Yesterday was a blah day when we got back as we were all knackered. Managed to do 3 loads of washing (includes bedding) and pop into Asda to stock up on necessities. I got on the scales this morning (I know I wasn't wise) and it was a bit of a shock to the old system but I'm not counting the increase on My fitness pal as it is a temporary blip. One of the people I follow on Instagram always says to reset and that is what I am doing. I made an omelette this morning and a big pot of ragu with tons of vegetables that will last me a few days.

My best buddy is home tomorrow so meeting her for a wine or 2 then back to work on Tuesday, so that will end the holiday mood.

Money front - I have just over 25 euros left which I don't think I will change back to sterling as it is handy to have when we pop over the border. I spent money in Asda yesterday and will have spends tomorrow with friend but hoping for a cheap week ahead.

I don't have a lot of plans today - ironing and putting away clothes. Tomorrow pup & I will go for a run and apart from meeting a friend it will be another lazy day:)

    Morning,

Yeah bank holiday weekend. I have a busy day ahead but hopefully will get it all done so Monday is an easy day.

Car is due up for its MOT on Wed so I need to go to the car wash. Also need to cut the hedge which takes ages & I want to weed the mini garden. Probably will not get it all done today but hopefully most of it.

    Plans today
    • [STRIKE]Wash car[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Cut hedge[/STRIKE]
    • Weed garden
    • [STRIKE]Beauticians[[/STRIKE]/FONT]
On the money front - bought a new duvet set & curtains. I wouldn’t count it as frittering but I could have waited and it wasn’t really a need but it really brightens up my room.

    August budget

    Spends - [STRIKE]£85[/STRIKE]/£x

    Morning all,

What a great weekend. The only thing I didn't get done on my to do list was weed the garden but it can wait to this weekend. I did manage to do a pile of ironing instead. Yesterday I took Mum, fluffy pup and nephew to the beach. It was a gorgeous day but it was a choice of weeding the garden or having 1 last trip to the beach before nephew goes back to school - so it was no contest really.

Money front - more month left than money :o. Still ok but I'd down to £12.90 to do me the rest of the month. I get paid tomorrow but can't touch that until the first of the month. Apart form odds and sods I shouldn't need to go near the shops. I have my lunch prepped in my bag and milk bought this morning for work.

Meeting running group at lunchtime today and I'm hoping it stays cloudy so that we don't have to run in the shocking heat. I'm hoping to run a 10k in September (as long as knee holds up) but the running has felt good & when it doesn't I take a rest.

Very little plans this week - thank goodness. I have my MOT tomorrow (please car you can do it) and have to put on appointment at vets for pups annual MOT.

I need to do some work to earn what they pay me :D

Thanks SSDD23 - your crossed fingers worked - my car passed :D. In N Ireland you have to take car to MOT centre and then do all the checking things - turn on headlights, fog lights, brakes, wipers, indicators etc.... I turn on my indicator every day but do you see in a test situation …. it all becomes very nerve-racking. Thankfully car passed and that is it clear for another year.

Money front - I got paid today :) but not touching until Saturday. I got about £20 more this month than expected. I also got a call last night from my nephew's football team - I had entered their draw and won £25:). I'm delighted.

Last night I changed my curtains and bedding and put the old ones in the wash. I also had fluffy pup trying to 'help' which really didn't make it any easier.

Today is going to be quiet day which I'm not really a fan of as it can seem to be quite long. We are moving desks this week into a bigger office so I suppose I could start decluttering....sigh

    Morning all

Pup & I are thinking extremely hard about going for a run today. It is pouring down outside and we are not sure if there is going to be a break in the rain. My last run on Thurs was 50 mins :) but very slow. I’m supposed to do 45 today but it will be 30 max as that is enough for pup.

Work ended up being very busy which I would rather have. I have just booked in a free hearing test with specsavers for Friday. I have hearing issues with my left ear which was tested about 20 years ago and with the increase in teleconferencing in work I’m struggling with the sound. I decided to go for a free test just to put my mind at rest.

This Monday I’m on a half day as pup has to go to the vets and I have also booked in some volunteer stuff. I have a conference on Wed and a training course on Monday so that should put my week in nicely.

No plans this weekend except for usual catch up with cousins but booked in for coffee date with friend next Sat morning.
