Once you have the empty flash drive(remove any data you wish to keep from it, as all will be erased), go to; https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows10 > Create Windows 10 installation media and click on Using the tool to create installation media (USB flash drive, DVD, or ISO file) to install Windows 10 on a different PC
Follow the instruction to create the installation media.

64 bit is the one you want.

    My preferred method would be to create the media with Rufus;

You can either use Rufus to download and create the image or download the image separately and create the installation media with Rufus.

    Both options shown here; https://www.windowscentral.com/how-create-windows-10-usb-bootable-media-uefi-support

Click https://software-download.microsoft.com/pr/Win10_1903_V1_EnglishInternational_x64.iso and choose to save the image if you choose to download the image yourself separately.

Click on Rufus to download and save.

Plug in USB Flash drive and note the Drive letter produced.

Make sure the Drive letter of the USB Flash drive is the same one indicated within Rufus when you double click on the Rufus application to open it.

Another reason for choosing my preferred method.

Just downloading or downloading and then creating the bootable installation media?

    Is it done?

Next step is to make sure that you have created the installation media correctly.
Just plug it into the PC and see if you can navigate within it's folders, by clicking on the Drive letter produced when plugging it in.
If you can, it should be fine.

So now you are going to connect the SSD up. This would be a good tim to get the old PC up and running, in case you need to place a message on the forum.

You should have the instructions(from post #46) for unplugging everything from the mains and removing the side panel. Perhaps touch a tap for a second or two before beginning.

Then it is as simple as removing the power cable and the SATA lead from the back of the current HDD and plugging them into the corresponding places on the SSD. That's it. Should take around thirty seconds
Leave the side off for now and the old HDD disconnected. Well connect it up again once we've installed Windows 10 to the SSD.

Switch the power back on at the mains(though don't yet turn the PC on) connect everything up(don't attempt to reconnect the HDD nor replace the side panel yet) and plug the USB Flash drive into a USB port at the back of the PC.

Now you can turn the PC back on and immediately after pressing the On button, continually press the F9 key.
At some point you should be presented with a Boot Order menu, Use the arrow keys to select the preferred bootable device(the USB flash drive) and press Enter.
The computer then boots from the selected non-default device for this one time and the installation of Windows 10 should begin.

Do you have a Windows 10 product key or is it already activated on your new PC?

i was already installing from your microsoft link when you added about your preferred way later.
this is what i have , i couldn't copy and paste,
    set up exe 73kb application
    boot mgr.efi 1475kb efi file
    boot mgr 401 kb file
auto run.infi 1kb set up info
    support
    sources
    efi
    boot

in the auto run inf it says set up error, is that a problem, or just because i am opening the file on old 32 bit p.c

    does this look correct??
sorry, forgot to mention that i have a scratch of product key on the new pc !!
