  • There are some right tw@ts out there isn't there really?

I had a very unpleasant experience too when I first joined DFW (nearly 2 years ago!!!) but luckily stuck to the website, it's been a god-send

  • It is rewarding. It is just what I do, I dont think id be good at doing anything else.I like doing different things each day and meeting new people.I dont like to stick to schedules, im no good at getting up in the morning, im not organised I love to talk so it suits me.I can do that job but I couldnt do what some of you do.I couldnt work in a bank snaggles im not smart enough, im rubbish on the phone and I cant do maths very well and I wouldnt get my work finished on time.So you have to find a job in this world that suits your skills and my job suits me.
  • I know, i wish people would think before they post sometimes.... Somethings just come out too blunt when written down and can be hurtful.

And some people take challenging debate to another level, which is fine if you are having an open debate but not some times..
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

Im a bit nervous maz about saying what I do, I strayed onto the discussion thread one night and mentioned that in my role I sometimes work for the health visitors, they totally attacked me and said that I was lying and that I was illiterate and could not be educated to degree level.
I was devestated they said I was not qualified and I am very proud of my registration, someone even said I should be struck off so im always a bit wary of saying what I do now.
but on the DFW board im amongst friends so I dont mind. (sorry im just still hurting from it all)

wow ~ I know it can get a bit lairy down there but thats downright outrageous

Yes i nearly left for good but I did have a lot of supportive private messages and there is always someone like that whether it is in our lives or on internet.
Luckily there is a lot more good people that outweight the bad ones.
Iv had some great support and advice here it really has made a big difference to my life.

Ryan is VERY literal too, sayings really confuse him! He doesn't understand sarcasm, can't read between the lines, can't read other peoples emotions, funny about food, very loud, talks 'at' you, obsessive, hates changes to routine, doesn't cry tears, problems with toilet training, angry outbursts.....LOTS of things.

But he's amazing, bright, brave, funny and totally adorable, and I think the world of him.

You forgot FAB at cricket
