Why, what did you buy peachpickle?
It is freezing here too, and tipping it down with rain. Which doesn't help, as the dogs need walking and I don't fancy braving this weather (wimp I know) :rotfl:0 -

Nothing that I can make any complete meals from! But I did get 3 tins of creamed mushrooms, some tex mex dips and some pickled onions

snowing??????!!!!!!!!! It's been persisting down here all day and is not nice at all. Went for a walk with the dog and even he wasn't best pleased (and being a Springer, they normally love any yucky weather!)
Sounds like it is creamed mushrooms on toast (or whatever comes to hand!) then PeachPickle - put the pickled onions on cocktail sticks and stick them in the dips! Party food!
Not having a good day generally. Found another friend on Facebook who has done really well - she has added photos of her house in South Africa complete with bar, jacuzzi and large outdoor pool.
I can only compete with my half finished bottle of cherry lambrini in the fridge, rubbish shower head and a big puddle near the wheely bin......."Stay Wonky":D

i went to uni in Staff IA. Seems like a very long time ago and i do remember it being prone to snow and cack weather.0
