  • Bottle of cheap brandy - pour it into a plastic lemonade/pop bottle. Add a punnet of chopped fresh cherries (the fiddly bit shoving them in the bottle - your fingers go very red/purple!). After 1 month add about half a pound of sugar and give it a good shake (with the lid on!!!) Leave it for at least 1 more month - ta daaaaa!!!!!

    I've also done some plum vodka - same way as above. I sipped that the other day expecting the harsh vodka taste but there isn't one!
