  • No they've not started rolling them out yet.

Per the other thread on this board...

Yes I posted a PDF in that thread which either accurately or inaccurately shows the design of the new cards.

No one has confirmed or denied it yet, but someone with more knowledge might come along and say something!
    Thanks

  • Has anyone had a debit card issued recently? Is it still the red and white Visa debit?

What material difference does it make to the customer whether the bank issues a visa or mastercard debit or credit card? None as far as I can discern! Anyone ever encountered a retailer who takes visa and not mastercard or vice versa? Yes, Amex is a different matter entirely...

It's just that people like at least one of each in case either system goes down.

I have actually found about 3 parking machines in the past year in Europe that would only take VISA and not Mastercard for some reason I can't understand - but that's about it in my travels barring AMEX which is hit and miss outside the UK&USA (barring bigger venues and travel companies).
    Thanks

  • So the Cash Cards you get with the ISAs are red and just say 'Cash card, they don't say 'ISA' or anything like that on them?

Coverage is comparable but not identical.
I've personally experienced ATMs and merchants that take one and not the other.
